If one hour is “No Wait” it’s a great app?

Watched the app, left for Chuys in Birmingham AL, should have had 15 mins left to wait upon arrival-25 max and the hostess tells us “it will be one hour minimal” kinda worthless and first time user. NOW we will never trust it.

Driving to a restaurant in lbi I checked the app multiple times and there was no wait. Closed out app and restarted and now there’s a 50 minute wait. Not a good app.

No Wait has a long wait.

Wish it had..

I’ve used this app several times. Each time it says “show up at x o’clock, your table is almost ready” and here we are 30 mins later still waiting on a table.

Horrible decision to make people download an app when a webpage would have worked

If the link that restaurants send customers is a webpage that literally says the words “we know it’s annoying to have to download an app just to see your place in line“, then maybe instead of doing the annoying thing you should just do the thing that people actually want which is to let them do it on the webpage instead.

After the service was over I was forced to rate the restaurant (it said optional but no way out of it to proceed). I thought it was a glitch so I deleted the app, and re downloaded it. During setup it asks if it wanted to keep my history, my history took me right back to where I was with the forced rating of the restaurant, that says OPTIONAL!! I don’t often rate just my thing. But since I had to rate something here you go.

Kept checking the app on 30 minutes drive to the restaurant. It kept saying “no wait - come on in”. Had read some other reviews that said the app had trouble refreshing so sometimes you had to re-search for a restaurant to get current data. I did that and got the same result. Got to the restaurant and they said 60 to 90 minutes wait. I told them about the app. They looked chagrined and said to refresh the data, you have to double click the home button and swipe the NoWait app off. Then launch it again. Absolute rubbish.

2 times in a row now the app has said Come on in! Only to arrive and find a 45 minute wait. What a load of crap this app is!!!!!!!

Doesn’t update properly to display wait times

Great concept with poor execution. This app does not update the wait time at a restaurant until you go all the way out of a search. I should also be able to put a place in line even if there isn’t a wait. This has lead to showing up at a restaurant showing no wait that has a 30-45 minute wait.

Restaurants stay away from this app

If you are a restaurant manager my advice is to stay away from this app, it will make you loose clients! This app is so bad that potential clients will go somewhere else. The app is so limited that doesn’t allow you to search for the restaurant you want. It will just show you a list of restaurants that according to the app are nearby and will make you pick from those. If you look up a restaurant franchising name it might show you locations 70 miles away, but not the one you want to go to...

It doesn’t save time, I checked in at exactly the suggested time and still waited 45 mins, the original estimated wait time. The app is just designed to make you feel like a restaurant’s 1st priority but the experience is no different than someone who doesn’t have the app.
