FINDING YOUR LOST OR STOLEN PHONE
A lost or stolen iPhone can introduce mobile phone security risks, especially if it contains sensitive personal data and is not locked via password protection. Your privacy can be exposed if the finder of the mobile device has malicious intent and accesses your address book, photos, videos, and text messages without your consent.
Fortunately, phone tracker apps can locate and track the movement of your iPhone, remotely trigger an alarm, and provide additional security controls via web-based management. Also known as phone trackers, phone locators, phone GPS or “find my iPhone” apps, these solutions are essential when it comes to mobile phone security.

Bought app directly from Norton; leads you to believe has antivirus capability but nothing on app itself indicates antivirus capability. Feel ripped off...
You have to keep the app open for it to work. Even then it does very little. I get it for free with my Norton subscription and it still is not worth having on my phone
Paid extra to norton to protect 10 devices. Downloaded it to my phone, just a crappy locator that I already had...TOTAL AND COMPLETE WASTE OF SPACE ON MY PHONE.
Norton leads one to believe that this is some sort of security software...it’s NOT. It doesn’t do ANYTHING (that I can see) that isn’t already accomplished by and done better by iOS—and none of that is security related in any way. This waste of memory is free with EarthLink subscriptions. I installed it a couple years ago and removed it as soon as I found out it was useless. Just reinstalled it to see if they had improved it—it hasn’t. Really disappointed by this rubbish from Norton. So far below their normal high quantity stuff.
Unable to update. Is subscription active and does app offer iPhone 7 protection?
- the app sits on an entirely outdated Xcode platform. Surprised it got certified by Apple - the big security spiel that Norton made to purchase the Security Deluxe package to extend to mobile devices, but then delivering this (perceived) useless piece of iOS software doesn’t speak for the suite. - why should ANYONE given access to the device’s microphone? We just heard what happen with Amazon’s Alexa. This is the opposite of what should be happening. Fairly disappointed here.
It seems I have the choice of having a reasonable battery life or using this app. Fully enabled with the locator turned on burns through a full battery charge in about 6 hours. With the locator option turned off, I get about 14 hours. I choose to have a functional phone and have killed Norton Mobile’s access to my gps.
Agree with above review...useless... just a locator... where is the security? I expected an antivirus...something that would identify malicious software, malware, viruses, etc... this does none of this. Really no benefit greater than what is built into iphone. I already have a locator function from apple!!!
Just purchased NS for my Macs and decided to get enough licenses for iPhones & iPad... Norton Mobile Security provides nothing new ( I already have find my phone and back up my contacts to the cloud from Apple). This is worthless, going to get my money back from Norton
