Do not buy

cjreusser

I bought this lightbulb cus it looked cool and I liked that I could use an app to control it. I know it’s just $10 but I’m returning it. It wouldn’t even hook up to my Bluetooth. And reading the reviews it seems like the company doesn’t even care that we’re waiting our money. I’ll be returning this and just getting the google lights.

Bad app that takes away from a decent bulb

Brody kk

It’s a crappy app and if you are looking to get the bulb instead of LED light strips, don’t. I did this and LED lights with built in electronics easily beats the app. Not impressed

This is a waste of time and money

This is so bad like I Can’t even change the colors or nothing I tried everything I knew it gonna be bad when all that stuff was so good for 10 dollars

Great concept, horrible delivery

The light is decent if you’re using it for a lap and changing color. I tried to use it in my ceiling fan and even when the light switch was off it would flash. Also, the music part is definitely not well thought out. You can’t go to any other apps and it will only work if you have music playing around you- it will not work with music playing on your phone. Which is what the packaging leads your to believe. Its a great idea, but this company failed at delivery.

This is great

This app does exactly what it’s supposed to do, change the color of the bulb, dim it, brighten it, and turn it off without walking to the light switch, I don’t know why this other guy is ranting on about, “its too dim” “I can’t see”. Maybe he got a defective bulb, or he’s half blind, anyway this bulb and app is awesome. Thx so much

Could be a lot better. Good concept, but...

I was really excited about this bulb, mainly because it said “smart bulb,” so I thought I could use it with Alexa. The app is horrible, the actual colors of the bulb are nothing like the app, and the connection is terrible. Things that need to happen: 1.) Study your physical product and see what improvements can be made. 2.)PLEASE redo the app with a professional. 3.) Get connected with Amazon on their Echo devices. I honestly don’t know how this was on a shelf at Target.

crashes

app crashes the second I try to open it so I can't even use the bulb

Bummed

Worked the first few times. Then had to reset the bulb for it to work. Now it doesn’t work at all. There is some sort of syncing interference. I don’t understand. Is it because where I am now has slower WiFi? I don’t see why that would affect it...

Did a 4 year old design this app?

The app is garbage. Like literal garbage. It does nothing it advertises and after a couple weeks it stopped connecting to my phone.

Waste of $10

Normally, I don’t mind spending some money to try out techy products whether it’s spendy or cheap. I like to try have a little fun with any new tech products out there because you never know what you’ll find but wow, this was a waste of money and time. Light bulb disconnects continuously. When you go to use it or turn it off the light the app is NEVER working. Even when you remove the device and reconnect it rarely ever works. I, manually, have to turn off the lamp with the switch on the lamp ( 1st world problem, yes, but it is one of the features) because not even the wall switch will turn it off, which is how we’ve always used this lamp. I did give it two stars because the colors are rather fun and work as they should. The colors that come from the bulb are brighter than expected. The ability to put it to music is worthless even when music is loud. I guess if your only looking for the option to change colors of your light, if app will stay connected long enough to change it, then this maybe worth it (as long as you can deal with removing and adding the app constantly to change the color). As for the ease of turn on and off a light, don’t get this one. There’s no reliability in this product/app whatsoever. On to the next fun tech product to try, this one is going to the trash!
