the bulb works, not very bright. the music and shake settings do not work and there is only a timer for 30 minutes, no schedule making options. the box shows you can do those things but you can’t! the app needs to be updated and changed to allow these functions. the only thing this bulb is good for is a faint light of the color of your choice... disappointed.

It’s fine and that’s fine.

The bulb is a fun toy for sure. I wish the music setting would work with music you play on your phone too instead of outside music. I have to click slightly left of the music and shake buttons to get them to open, but otherwise they work. Really was hoping for a rotating color feature like what it does when it turns on. Also would like to see customizable presets. App needs improvements, but it’s a good buy for a $10 light. Would invest in a better app with more features if I were to buy another in the future, but much better than buying a $40 bulb. Sitting in a purple room is worth it.

Well dang

Literally broke my lamp. My lamp was working fine before I tried this, I guess I got the bad light bulb from the pack, and now no lightbulb will turn on. Very very irritated.

What a waste, & frustrating!

I was so excited when I thought I was buying a smart bulb to put in a lamp I can’t reach very well to turn on & off. I used to use a remote system I’d plugged the lamp into & a remote device to turn it on & off. I was released to think I wouldn’t have to use that hard to find remote. I tried the build & it did what it was supposed to. It looked cool & I couldn’t wait to buy more & use them in my sound studio & art studio. After buying a few more & setting them up, I experienced frustration in the app not being able to identify the bulbs a second time, & once I went through the whole setup process again, & after shutting the lights off, the app would keep alerting me the devices could not be found - annoying, frustrating & very disappointing. Support was no support at all. Their instructions directed me to their website to find options that don’t exist. Sad.

Not compatible with Galaxy S8+

I suggested this to my grandmother and it won’t connect to her phone at all. She gets an error message to “check the [light’s] settings” after saying “couldn’t pair”. She has a galaxy S8+ and it connects to my phone just fine. If androids aren’t compatible, it should say that.

Update the app

A_yanah

The usability of the product overall would improve if you guys just updated the app. I have an iPhone X and the app doesn’t even fit the screen size like come on, that’s baseline

App crashed

Tomas Ruvalcaba

The app keeps crashing and I've tried everything to try to fix it please fix the app. I've tried rebooting my phone erasing the app and nothing helps

Unresponsive and awful

MechaTurtles

The LED bulb was worse than I expected, and the app is awful. Definitely returning this soon, the light is weak and the white color is an obvious blue hue.

Good but needs some improvement

Willow Penk

It’s not very often that I give a review. I think this is a great idea you have going here and it’s even better because you can improve it as you grow and get bigger. My concerns with the app is that I can not figure out how to use the shake function nor can I figure out how to use the music change function. It may be because I don’t understand which mean others probably won’t understand either so it might be good idea to make it more usable for the dummies like me in the world, or that portion of the app generally just doesn’t work.... I do think this a great idea and an app and needs a little bit of improvement. Once that small part is fixed I will gladly give you a five stars!!!! :) :)

Somewhat Smart Bulb

Me-who-NEVER-writes-reviews

I think this is a case of oversold, under-delivered. Yes, the bulb changes colors, BUT they are all so dim... even on the brightest setting which actually just provides more color saturation rather than brightness. I did figure out how to save my favorite colors-select a color on the wheel and then hold the pre-set button. The music function-not so much and forget about the shake option. IF either of those features actually work, it would be nice if a detailed set of instructions was included. And last, but certainly not least... a 30-minute timer??? Come on-surely you can do better than that.
