Crashes with IPhone 8

Paid $3.99 during Hurricane Irma for this app and it worked fine on my iPhone 6. 3 weeks later I upgrade to a iPhone 8 and the app won’t open. Upon looking further this app hasn’t been updated in 3 years.

I recently updated my iPhone and since then, I am not able to open this app at all. I previously loved this app and I’m pretty upset about it. I still get alerts from the app but as soon as I try to view them, the app screen starts and then immediately closes, no matter what I do. I can’t get into the app through the normal way either. I thought maybe there was an update to the app that I needed to install to fix the crash problem but am not seeing one available. Please fix this app to stop crashing. I’m lucky that I don’t live in a high danger storm area but fear for anyone who relies on this app for safety when severe weather occurs! To those who have yet to install the latest iOS update, you might want to hold off on it or risk losing access to this app.

I download the app when I had the iOS 10 but I went to update my phone and after the update was completed I opened the app it crashes and doesn’t stay open or open on start up it takes me to the home screen and it will not open and run
