Super fun game

KennyWu4u

Been trying for years to get my friends to play Dream Quest, but the art turns them off so much. Now this game came out with good art, and some of the sharper edges of Dream Quest smoothed our. Highly recommend this!

Really fun game.

I enjoy playing this game. Hope there will be more content someday.

Phenomenal game and responsive dev

Xtinextine

I just picked up this game a couple days ago and wow, I wish I hadn’t waited so long to add it to my library! I’m honestly enjoying it far more than dream quest as I’ve found the difficulty level to be fair and adjustable. It also doesn’t hurt that the graphics/music are stunning - even the voice acting is done really well! Gameplay is fun, strategic, and best of all, fully premium. The dev was also extremely quick to respond to my questions, and for that, this game is 5+ stars. Truly excellent job, hope to see even more content in the future.

Fun & engaging

Fun and Challenging!

DMB106

To those claiming it’s theft, it’s not. It was inspired by Dream Quest and the developer gave his approval for the game. This is a dark, but adorable, fairy tale inspired card battler. You choose different classes for different difficulty levels. You build your deck as you progress. Past the easiest class, you really have to plan ahead and use strategy. Only use certain talents and cards if you absolutely have to. And of course make sure you choose cards appropriate for your deck build. I love this game and look forward to more in the future!

Don’t listen to the negative reviews!

imcrazytrw

All of the negative reviews on here are claiming that it is an overt copy of Dream Quest and that intellectual property being stolen is an issue. This is not the case; the developers have a big message saying that it was heavily inspired by Dream Quest, and the differences between the games is large enough for this game to stand on its own merits. Yes, it does play a lot like Dream Quest! It’s a randomly generated CCG with different starting classes (basically Knight, Ranger, Cleric, and Witch) with one unlockable class. I have cleared the normal difficulty twice so far, once as the knight type class and once as the ranger type class; each time I fought a different boss based on the decisions I made on how I interacted with the random enemies after defeating them in battle. Even after 2 playthroughs the game remains fun, as there are always ways to hone your strategies with each class. There’s also unlockable skill trees that will increase your starting money, mana, health, etc. Overall, the level of polish put into this game is something you don’t see from developers on mobile anymore. All of the enemy dialogue is fully voice acted (very well actually), the artwork is beautiful, the use of portrait mode is smart, the randomly generated events are interesting, and the lite “choice system” is well implemented with a direct effect on determining the end-game boss. So please, don’t listen to the negative reviews. If you are on the fence with this game, get it! I’ve put a lot of time into this game the last few days, and I continue to want to jump back in for another playthrough. I really hope the developers continue to add more content!

Polished deck builder

Cereallobstera

It’s a good deck builder with an extra layer of polish on the visuals and sound. The closest game it comes to is Meteorfall but is still unique enough to make it worth picking up. The people claiming that this is a rip-off of Dream Quest are idiots. The only mechanic that is the same is the deck building aspect which is the same for almost all deck builders: earn, upgrade, prune.

No IP Theft - Lots of fun

Anyfreenicknames?

First off, the mailbox icon in the game indicates this was inspired by Dream Quest and produced with Peter Whelen’s permission. It’s a lot of fun. I’m not usually a fan of this type of game but found that time flew by while playing. It’s all a retelling of the little red riding hood story. Sort of dark, but cartoony and a little superficial on the story side of things. The only in app purchase at the moment is for an extra class.
