Constantly re-linking

1/2/20: TWO YEARS LATER and still have to put up with the same problem of CONSTANTLY having to re-link my account to my DirecTV account! For the love of god fix this!!! 1/18/18: Your app is garbage this year. I have purchased nhl.tv through our directv subscription and on my phone and iPad I constantly have to keep re-linking the 2 accounts every time I want to watch or listen to games! Also, when logging in, the only option is to log out first (even though I’m not logged in) to log back in. Very tedious and frustrating.

would give 0 stars if i could. waste of a 180$ purchase. can never log in and watch games, even though i log in successfully. log in screen 8 times in a row. switch to phone to try and watch and says i can’t because i’m logged in and watching at another location. absolute trash.

Love it! Dark Mode Please?

The app hasn’t gotten much better since my initial review. For my use, it’s still missing one key feature which is sort of mind blowing that it doesn’t have: resume watching a pre recorded game. What I mean is that it should save and sync my progress in a game so that I can pick up where I left off later on the same device and other devices like my phone or in a browser. It’s sort of crazy that this is still not a thing in this app. Also, downloading of games to my device to watch while in an area without WiFi would be a great addition.

Issues Every Year, No Customer Service

I’ve been paying for the nhltv subscription for years and it’s the same awful experience every year. No matter which device I’m streaming a game on with everything up to date and wifi in top shape, game streams are garbage. It’s the same every season, especially in the first month where it’s unwatchable. I have screenshots of my “customer service” experience for 4 straight years where they can’t do anything about the app reverting alert settings to default constantly and the game streams being mostly unwatchable. If you pay for this service you’ll get real familiar with all the error codes very quickly, but don’t expect customer service to be on the same page as you even once. They’ll have you do basic troubleshooting over and over again until you can’t stand it anymore while offering no sort of discount or refund for this lackluster and frustrating experience. No wonder the NHL can’t compete with the other major sports leagues, it’s own app and subscription service can’t even provide a reliable source for fans to watch games or get news. If you have another service available to you to watch out of market games that isn’t pirating, I would highly recommend going that route.

Good but annoying

I love this app. I love hockey and getting notified when my team scores. But I get a lot of notifications, and it’s quite annoying. When I’m just chilling around, even if my team isn’t playing, I get a notification. I don’t like getting so many.

App could be so much better.

Game recaps are a pain to get to. Ads. Poor streaming quality. More repetitive and annoying ads during the game.

Radio glitch

For some reason now that I am on the latest update foIOS and the app the NHL radio function won’t play unless I have the App actively open. It’s frustrating when I’m trying to listen to the game and navigate somewhere while driving. Please fix this it really is frustrating.
