Best sports league app

Of the major sports leagues, the NHL app is far and away the best. Good interactive functions - love the ability to listen and watch games. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

I’d like to see the app reflect more of the options offered on the desktop website. For the news section I’d love for their to be a way to filter out based on senior writers, trade deadline tracker, scouting reports, etc. There is a lot of material offered through the website that app users really cannot see. The app also used to offer an option where you could filter videos by game recaps, goals, saves, etc. I’d love to be able to just select the type of video and just run through a bunch of them. The app runs super well with very few bugs but for users who use the app consistently there could be more for you to select and filter through. Other than that, it’s amazing and the layout, design and way it works is wonderful.

I love how game recaps come out so quickly and how score time is very accurate It gives good info on stats and I like how it shows the latest news Overall a great app keep up the good work

Before the last update the app worked significantly better. Now the radio feature requires the app to be open and playing video clips often just gives me a black screen. Not well done NHL, not well done.

During playoff hockey, the app makes simple glitching mistakes as in saying a team leads the series 2-1 when game 5 is about to start. I’m not too good with math but that doesn’t sound possible. There is no excuse for getting scores, records wrong and not updating them especially in the playoffs. These days there are apps that take care of every little detail your life entails this is actually one of the simplest things I have ever come to see. Get the scores right, get the records right, because I’m losing my patience.

I was charged $24.99 plus tax for a one month subscription on May 2nd when the provider knew full well that the content being sold to me was BLACKED OUT.

No love for the Maple Leafs!

Could we PLEASE get the Maple Leafs as an option to change the home icon image? How is the most popular team in the NHL not an option????? Otherwise a decent app. I’ll update my rating once the Leafs are among the teams that can be added as a home icon choice.

Drop beats

The apps audio broadcast are terrible. Make sure your car or home radio is turn all the way down unless you want to blown speakers. The compression is ridiculous the audio is so loud and the digital distortion is crazy. IHeartRadio is best to use. The only reason I keep this is for the standings and they still manage to get that wrong. This NHL app doesn’t even know what round it is in the playoffs.

Mostly good except the playoff section.

Overall, I like the app. My main complaint is if you are trying to find out when the next game of a playoff series is, don’t look for it in the “Playoff” section if it’s not today. It’s either not there or it is so buried I can’t find it. I have to swipe through the “Scores” to find what day the next game is. You would think they would put this info in the Playoff section.
