I look forward to signing on to the NHL app each day to follow my favorite teams and players. I played hockey growing up as a kid in northern NY. The game of hockey is a lifestyle. Those exposed to the game of hockey know what I mean for sure. I am a lifelong student of the game. Thank you for my Daily Dose of the NHL!
When it works, it’s fine

Almost every clip, regardless of duration, starts with an ad. Mostly gambling ads. I wish I could pay something to get rid of the ads. Then about 30-50% of the time the video will crash in the middle of playing meaning that I must watch a second gambling ad in order to watch the complete video.
Don’t waste your time or money.

Good if you want to just check a score. Terrible if you’re actually trying to watch a game. You can only watch 50% of the games before after you pay an outrageous $170+, which renews before each season without any notice. The app didn’t work at all during early 2021. I bought the annual pass, which didn’t work, then I bought the monthly pass. After spending $300 to watch hockey while I was deployed I wasn’t able to watch a single game. Nothing would stream, and there was always an issue with my account. Once I returned home from my deployment, to watch games live on the app, you have to download the ESPN app which you also have to pay to use!! So many hoops to jump through (and pay for) just to occasionally watch your team. Would never buy again. Terrible experience. 0/10 would recommend. Be warned this app and Roger’s NHL Live just steals your money and gives you nothing in return. Absolute waste.

Poor video

Videos take too long to come through in high definition on my phone. And the seem to take awhile to buffer in the beginning. Never experience these issues with any number of streaming services I use on my phone.
