Official app doesn’t reflect that a central Paris stop has been closed for years

We were late for a dinner reservation and found that the stop presented by the app has been closed since 2017. Luckily the taxi rank was just outside the station. Deleting this app now.

You can use this app online or offline to plot your travel around the city. The Metro is designed so you never take more than two trains to get anywhere, and this app shows you exactly which and in which directions. It’s a snap to use!

My husband and I just got back from Paris and this app saved us. We didn’t get lost on the Metro one single time. It is amazing not only in showing you which routes to use but also which directions you should be facing and how long you should be walking to get to your destination. It was especially great in that you don’t need WiFi to access the maps.

Give this app a chance, it may seem confusing but once you understand it makes Paris very easy to travel around. Just add the destination and the app will give you directions. It’s perfect!!! Just make sure before you get onto the metro you verify direction of the trains next stops, the app will tell you which way to go.

Just came back from Paris and this app was a life saver. I can’t say enough good things about it. I didn’t even need a paper map. After the first day I just left it at the hotel. Wherever I was I just entered my next destination and it would guide me to the metro station, tell me which line and which direction to take (this is essential so you know which side of the platform to enter), let me know when and where to take connections. It was never wrong. Before the trip I downloaded every Paris app so I could compare and contrast. This one was definitely the best and easiest to use. We never got lost. I highly recommend it to all Paris travelers!

There are so many features of this app that blow away all the others! My favorite is the ability to put in a tourist site like the Eiffel Tower and the app will tell you exactly what Metro lines to take with easy to follow, step-by-step guides through the Metro. Other apps have cumbersome advertisements or only list the Metro station names, not tourist sites nearby. You can also get information about tourist sites and download off-line maps. Amazing free app!

Stayed in Paris for the first time and this app saved us from getting lost. Worked amazingly even underground in the subway. Enjoyed traveling via train to all the known landmarks and they have lots of info regarding Paris!

I have both the Next Stop Paris app and the RATP app. I liked the RATP app better. The Next Stop Paris app gives you info about tours, attractions and events. All I needed was info on the transportation - metro, buses, trains so the RATP app worked for my needs. If you want more info about happenings in Paris, Next Stop Paris is a good app for that!
