Cannot save the Whole drive

Since the day I got the camera been working great. The app works, everything works good. The only problem is the inability to save or use the whole drive out side of the Nexar app. Have contacted the Nexar team via chat multiple time and was told it’s a feature that was requested by many and will enable it soon but still I can’t find an option having waited updates after updates, and I don’t really have an idea why this feature is not available. This actually makes the whole camera useless By the way there is no way you can get the memory card and get to the video as well, since videos in the card are small video snippets and after a long drive you will have 100s of short videos.

Looks like this app uses tons of deta when I use it, my phone gets terribly hot. Sometimes my phone goes unresponsive. I am using Iphone X. If I go and check my cellular data history. This app always on the top of the list. May Many gigabytes. Please make this app less power consuming. So that I can use it. Will revisit again to see any improvements so that I can give five star.

I only have one gripe about the software — when you use a voice command, like Siri, to save a clip, it doesn’t save far enough back. It needs to save an additional 5-10 seconds back. Other than that, I love the app and the camera.

Unit is plugged into constant power. Shuts off after 15 minutes. The plug is on all of the time. Deleted the app. Unit will be going where all worthless crap is sent. No response from nexar except to say it doesn’t match iPad. Not the issue. Will not monitor my vehicle all of the time. Have ordered a unit from diesel boss. They sold the last one 5 years ago. It worked 24 hours a day with the power.

My boyfriend purchased two cams, one for my car and one for his, in hopes that we could be in a “group” together. At first we loved how cool all of the features were on the app, but then things turned for the worse. Well we set up the cams and all was working fine until I realized I wasn’t getting notifications when my boyfriend drove. I contacted support, and every message in the thread was from a different person. Almost all of them telling me to send a screenshot of nexar in my settings to prove I wasn’t just missing something I guess??? Well anyway they told me the developers put out a new version for the app to fix my problem, so I updated the app and ran into more problems. Now my boyfriends drives weren’t showing at all on my app (same with me on his app), and on top of that it doesn’t save clips of drives (only the whole drive) AND the whole drive has bits and pieces of choppy, laggy footage. Looked online and almost everyone is saying they’re having the same problems as us (along with additional problems). It’s outrageous that they are even selling this underdeveloped product. My boyfriend is working on getting us a refund right now and we will be returning this product with no intentions of purchasing from this company again.

None of my videos play. What’s the point of having a dash cam if the videos won’t play? When I open a full drive and hit play, nothing happens.

Have been trying to update the firmware on the camera for over a week. After it failed multiple times, I contacted customer support. Someone different replies after every message sent and they ask for the same thing over and over. Finally after a week of back and forth I gave up on customer service. Camera it self is great.
