I've a few apps to keep me abreast of what's going on in the world and Newsbeat is by far the best. With everything from politics to business, technology, labor and international news you're sure to be in the know.
Annoying glitch

Overall, it's a decent source of additional news. I find most of articles to be interesting. One annoying glitch is when you get a push notification with a title of an article and you click to open that particular article in the app, it does not directly take you to that article. Instead, you are taken to the general stream of news where you are forced to cycle through all of them to find that one you originally wanted to read. Many times that article is not even there. This is extremely annoying and misleading. If I only have time to read that one piece of news I should be able to do so. Please fix it!

Love that I can select from a variety outlets and sources that my articles originate from; Finally found my all-in-one news apps that is completely customizable to my liking. Links article source, ability to favorite, share and save for later.
No network connection glitch

Live the app, but it definitely has some glitches of late. A prior reviewer noted when selecting a story from alerts it takes you to the feeds and then you have to waste time finding the article. And about a month ago I started getting 'no network connection' meaning it won't load the feed at all (except I get story alerts), and clearly my network connection is good either wifi or otherwise because every other app works just fine. Basically can't use the app as a result. Need to do better pre-release testing.

In searching for more CarPlay apps, I stumbled on News Beat. I listen to it all the time because it gives me the news I am interested in. This has made my drive time so much more interesting.
