Loved the site, used it everyday. Last major update they said "Screw You" tablet users. No one uses iPads anymore, everyone is on the iPhones now! They just wanted to cheapen it and put no effort into it anymore. Anyone have replacement apps to use instead?

Why?
Used to be great format, they gave it an overhaul, not a fan of the tediousness of it now. I like following categories and topics as opposed to sources—its why news republic was so good in the first place. Now every time I use it, it feels like a homework assignment
Nice Interface but Walled Garden

Fast and intuitive interface. Articles format quite nice. However, there is no proper access to the iOS share sheet to links directly to the source. A that means no sharing to Instapaper, Pocket, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Fix that issue, and you have a fan.

Completely junk app that doesn’t work properly half the time (can’t view or send comments, stories won’t open, says I’m not connected to the internet when I’m on WiFi or regular data and it makes the volume on my iPhone go up and down as I attempt to browse stories. Not to mention the horrible propaganda, so much bs it’s ridiculous. Just look at the crazy headlines on the App Store pictures. Fn disgusting. Edit: Now at this point they give me nothing but sports news when I NEVER search for sports. I have blocked the sports news providers and they still give me the same stories I blocked. Also a good 80% of the time it tells me no new news, I have followed numerous providers so I know that is bs. YOUR TRASH APP IS BROKEN... FIX IT. Never mind you just got deleted off my phone.

Done everything to make this app work. Been fine for over a year and the bugs started. Open an article, entire app closes. Favorite sites gone, like the horoscopes. Reloaded the improved app today and will not update. Stuck on 4/9/18 news and events. Sadly, this app will be deleted and in search of a comparable app that is reliable. Even powered off my IPad, nothing helps.
