Update: They fixed the ad issue, but now the sucker keeps crashing 4 seconds into a news story. What the heck happened? This used to be my go-to app for news in Northern VA. I will be deleting it. If a news story has a video with it, the ad automatically starts playing even if you just want to READ the article, instead of watching it. There is no option to exit out of the ad. I have a hard time exiting from the news story video after the ad plays. Sorry Nbc4.. This was the final straw in bad choices for your app.

I have enjoyed this app for a few years. For the past few days, though, this app has been crashing just a few moments into a news story. Any news story. Please fix this!

Very buggy app with problems from ads to performance. Why does this developer require to track me through this app even when I'm not using it???

Pretty Bad - a huge step backwards

I used to love their Storm Team 4 app, which provided a very informative summary of the morning and the evening weather, but this new combined weather-and-news app provides about one-tenth the detail. For example, the old app would say "showers early then clearing through the a.m. commute. Highs in the mid-70s and lows in the lower 60s". Now, this new app simply reads "Moderate rain. Chance of precipitation 30%." It's almost as (poorly) informative as the Apple weather app, which is why there are so many weather apps out there.
