waste of time

ughnicknames

The app is a 30 minute trial / preview that starts when you start watching your first stream (even if you’re just checking out the app to see if it works, and it’s not exactly the sport you wanted to see). It’s also riddled with poor usability and annoying paywalls. I’m not going to pay for something if it’s too hard to find the sports I’m trying to follow.

Too many commercials!

jdavid59

I just wanted to watch the replay of one of the short track heats. Instead I had to start by watching NINE commercials first. Then every time I scrolled forward, another commercial came on. Same thing with medal ceremonies, and considering that we don't even get to watch them directly after the event completion, it's stupid to have to watch multiple commercials to get to one part of the ceremony on a replay days later.

Nbc is subpar all around

Mmmmmhhhharrr

This app as well as coverage via other nbc vehicles should be so much better for 2018. Instead of making coverage about the sport, athletes and viewers we repeatedly see and hear puffed up garbage and commercials instead of what we want to see. Very frustrating

Not Free - Would leave Zero Stars if possible

Kipstermerjah

You must have a cable subscription to access the content in this app. Probably has something to do with the Nielsen proprietary ownership of your information when you use this app. The Olympics are a national inspiration. Thank NBC for screwing us out of celebrating America. NBC likes Americans that pay for cable. If you are an American and you don’t pay for cable, then NBC must hate you.

Why on earth

A. Sweeney

Why on earth did you implement your own video player interface on Apple TV? What have you gained by doing this? Why, after deciding to do this, did you make the controls different than every other Apple TV app? Are you under the impression that this differentiates you somehow? That it’s somehow a better experience for any single person? And finally, after making these poor decisions, did you not spend the time to even make it work properly?

It's aight

reviewtuu

It works when it wants to. It's a practical and intuitive service. Commercials don't stop play back and tune in at the middle of an event? It does what it says it does, it's aight.

WHY CANT I SHARE

claw2722

It makes actually zero sense that I can’t share clips from the NBC app with my friends but rather have to tell them to navigate this app and find the clips on their own. What marketing genius decided to reduce people’s access to videos? FIX THIS PLEASE.

Freezes and ads interrupting competitions

_robin_bobin_

Every 10 minutes stream stops. I already hate mama mia movie because I watched its ad 30 times in 2 days. Yes, mamma mia right inside of figure skating performance. Actually instead of one. And don't even start to speak about my bandwidth. I watch other streaming providers content in 4 parallel streams without any glitches.

Don’t use Bluetooth headphones

Pastor Glenn

App doesn’t appear to appear to work with Bluetooth headphones; works ok with wired ones.

Unusable mobile app

Tracelina

Every time I try to find the content I'm looking for, the app plays six commercials in a row! There's no hide to when a particular segment starts, so I'm stuck trying to guess when it might start. I've watched more Han a dozen commercials already and haven't even gotten to watch the program!
