What use to be

This app/site use to be fantastic but now has turned into a waste of time. They report news sometimes DAYS after it has been reported else where. It's extremely bias and has an agenda. What use to be articles that were strictly sports news now is personal beliefs and thoughts. It doesn't give you options to follow certain teams and players, the best it lets you do is move the sports around so you can see what sport you like first. Years ago, I checked this every chance I could get. Now I finally deleted it. Bleacher Report App is 1000x better. Rotoworld for fantasy sports is the best in the business. Don't waste your time with this app unless you want to read what Florio and the NBC people think about all topics

This app has potential but they can't seem to get it right. Has plenty of football articles but lacks baseball articles. There is 10 football articles for every 1 baseball article. The comment section needs work. Seems to always have trouble with logging in or the comments going through.

Good info most of time, however super huge steelers bias you can definitely tell that they are steelers fans. Especially Mike Florio I have moved on to others sites for this reason.

I've been a fan of ProFootballTalk.com for over ten years and they are often on the cutting edge of NFL news and rumors. HardballTalk also generally has a good handle on breaking baseball news. Unfortunately, I'm no longer interested in getting so much "social justice" lecturing with my sports news. The lead writers (primarily Craig at HBT, and Florio with PFT to a lesser extent) love to interject their left-leaning politics in top stories. With PFT, they couldn't get enough of Kaepernick and the rest of the anthem kneelers, constantly working to keep the story alive while most of us just shrugged. They are also a leading voice in the fight against the "Redskins" name. More recently they started taking "stand your ground" laws to task after some tragic off-field deaths. Craig and the HBT staff are more aggressive pushing for social change. They clearly believe they are changing the world, often gloating about how they refuse to "stick to sports." Every few days you'll get a story about those mean, greedy owners fighting the wonderful union or how racist baseball is because there aren't enough minority front office workers. And don't get them started on offensive team names and mascots! While I agree with them on some issues (public financing for stadiums, as an example), I don't need politics with my sports. I prefer sports as a refuge away from the annoyances of politics, which can unite fans of any belief system. That's the beauty of sports - it can bring people of all races, faiths and beliefs together as we root for a shared victory. Unfortunately, folks like the NBC Sports Talk writers don't share that view and want to make sure only the "correct" views accompany sports. If you're into "social justice warriors" and want to politicize everything, this app is good. It works well and they do deliver on good news and rumors. But if you just want them to stick to sports, I'd go elsewhere.

The PFT guys are fine for the most part. Although Florio has personal vendettas, his heart is in the right place most of the time. As for the head writer for HardBallTalk, pshh, he's just a douche. I had to move that all the way down to the bottom so I wouldn't be reminded of it.
