Clunky UI

The app works for me now that I figured out some of the odd UI choices. Some of the issues I have: - No clear indication that car started or is running on the app. I expected the start button in the app to work as a toggle similar to the physical button in the car. ie push once to start and a second time to stop. Swiping between the operations seems silly. - error messages are useless. Press stop when there car is not running and you get "remote operation is in progress". Most messages are similarly useless. - the only reason to open the map in the Mazda app is to find my parked car. Just show it to me. I know where I am already - don't make me click an obscure button to find my parked car on the map. - new features like showing historical fuel usage and the ability to edit infotainment favorites would be nice if the UI sloppiness can be fixed.

Remote start works perfectly - Face ID needs update

Don’t listen to the bad reviews. I almost didn’t buy my Mazda because of them. But the app has been updated and all features are working properly. Face ID works but for some reason every other day I have to sign in and go to Mazda setting because Face ID is turned off by the app. NEEDS UPDATE. Keep up the good work Devs. I have an iPhone X running latest software.

This app is great! There have been many updates to this App. I love the connected vehicle feature.

Barely useful and not worth the trouble

Car manuals aren't the easiest thing to use but this app makes them seem not so bad. Simple searches like "fuel" return a number of hits that have nothing to do with fuel, and the actual fuel requirements section is nowhere to be found. Unfortunately it's this app or the hard manual.

Amazing App

A lot of reviews here are negative! I get it. I almost fell in that category. Initially, I could not sign up/ log in in the app. It kept saying “Error - Something went wrong. Please try again later.” The sales person at the Mazda dealer couldn’t figure it out. She reached out for help but to no success. I called the tech support in the customer care hot line and the person was very positive about being able to fix the problem. After about half an hour of trouble shooting—he’s dumbfounded why it wouldn’t work. Then I thought to myself... let me check the settings on my phone. For personal reasons I decided to put a restriction on my phone. I am using VPN internet monitoring and replaced my safari browser with a third party app. All I did is restore the settings to original and MyMazda app worked like a charm! My favorite (for obvious reasons) is the REMOTE START! So cool. I always hated trying to reach for my keys when I’m getting in the car especially when I’m holding something on one hand and my phone on the other. Now, I don’t have to. The app locks and unlocks your car! It also shows you the status of the car if the doors are locked, current mileage, tire air pressure and it alerts you if there’s something wrong. All in all it’s freakin amazing! You have to experience the app for a complete understanding of it’s awesomeness! Word to the wise. Before you get frustrated with the app consider the fact that it maybe your phone that has the issue and not the app! ZOOM ZOOM! #❤️mymazda

Remote functions

I don’t give reviews so you know this 1 Star is authentic. I absolutely love my CX-30 but I hate that it’s paired to this app. The remote almost never gets my car to start or lock unlock doors. The only thing it’s doing right is telling me if my door is ajar or I left the car unlocked. Other than that this app is garbage.

Worthless to me

After my 2020 new car purchase, Mazda sent me an email, suggesting I download their app (yes — this app). So, I downloaded it, and quickly learned the app only works on three models of Mazda’s — and my new car was not on the list. Complete waste of time. For the record, I also bought a 2020 Ford Transit Connect van last month, and the Ford app works with my new Ford — including remote start and vehicle location mapping. Why would Mazda not support my 2020 Mazda 3?

Great idea - awful execution

This app could be fabulous. Too bad it isn’t. Logging in using Touch ID worked for a while and now it won’t. The app says I need to log in and enable Touch ID in settings. I do that, but when I log out and try to log back in using Touch ID, I get the same error. I can’t opt out of Mazda selling my personal information, because the app doesn’t recognize my email address as valid since it doesn’t end in .com - despite the fact that I’m entering the email address in my profile. I could go on, but you get the picture.
