Won’t keep my bank info

The Lexus financial website has my bank info saved for my monthly payments but for some reason the app doesn’t have this information saved. The app feels pretty clunky. Which is funny considering the build quality of Toyota and Lexus vehicles.

Used to be moderately useful but the software idiots at Lexus Toyota have so screwed up the app security that logging in through the app is basically impossible. Really how stupid are these lame developers?

It is one of the worst apps I’ve used. It is always locking me out after an update and then tells me my password and name are incorrect. Which is why I use the face recognition, but that doesn’t work after each update either. I had to call and get help today and that along with retrying to set this up, took hours. Get it together and make this a smoother process.

I’ve been using this app for my Lexus since October 2019. It hasn’t given me any problems at all. The only thing I would change or say improve is establishing an autopay of some kind. I understand going in and making payments ahead of schedule and monitoring it yourself. I’m in the military and if I get deployed or go to the field where I’m in a dead zone I will be screwed. Please for the people in charge of this app, help out the people who are not able to monitor their payments due to things we can’t control.

The login process is tedious with the app never remembering my device despite the fact nothing has changed. I do not have the ability to use Face ID to login either which is a common feature on simple App’s. The website is slow to update payment information and payoff quotes and other links are non functional most of the time. The worst part is the App has not improved throughout the two years I’ve had it. I would have expected better from a Toyota App.

10/31/20 update Issue still exists. It’s impossible to enable Face ID. Get stuck on idiotic security questions with the “We are currently experiencing technical difficulties and cannot process your request. Please try again later” message! 10/24/20 update It’s acting again, will not let me use my Face ID. This app is a joke!!!!! Shame on you Lexus!!!! After the most recent update app is useless!!! Need to type my user name and password every time I want to sign in. There is an option to setup FaceID but after logging in it takes me to the page where I must setup security questions. After completing I’m getting Verification error....every single time and it won’t let me skip it. I understand security is important but this isn’t a Fort Knox for crying out loud!!! It’s a freaking payment app!!!! Protected by iPhone already. Make this convenient and not harder!!!!!
