*Works exclusively with myLED hardware available at myled.co/store*
*Kickstarter funded, featured in TechCrunch, Mashable, Gigazine*
myLED is an accessory that plugs into the headphone jack and lights up for notifications. It alerts you to missed calls, emails, tweets and Facebook notifications, and battery in a visual way. myLED keeps you informed of your important notifications.
myLED’s colors and patterns can be customized for each notification so you know what each alert is from a glance.
• Get visual alerts for:
o Battery level
o Missed calls
o Emails
o Tweets
o Facebook messages and timeline updates
• Customize the color and pattern of myLED alerts
• One time app setup and you‘re good to go – No hardware setup
Must use original myLED hardware for the app to work!

It looks awesome but how can i get it? It should blink with more apps but its ok
This is only he software. In order for it to work, you must also PURCHASE (from their website) the light which is an attachment that fits into the earphone jack. Sound simple? You can "pre-order" a device for $30 but all but 4 of 6 color options are "sold out". A freakin ripoff.
I just got mine today, works great! I would give 5 stars if it did text messages too! Maybe down the road. I hope.
I just received my myLED in the mail today and started messing with it, its a great idea but just some minor kinks. If i try to make a notification just breathe the secondary color (blue) red still flashes before it. Also I'd love to see if maybe with the new iOS 7 coming if you can have it flash for text messages. Also will y'all be adding support for any notification alerts, like mail i dont use the built in apple mail app i use another or like can it flash while I'm getting a call, just minor things like that.
So close yet so very far toward actually being useful on a daily basis. What a disappointment. 1. Does not use iOS notifications as its source for email alerts; they require that you provide your info & password for each email account directly in the app. 2. If the LEDs actually require full volume for output, then how is it that the brightness may be turned down in the app? Work with the current volume level or change it programmatically when the LED is plugged in (if it's possible). 3. Seems very buggy with frequent crashes. 4. Minimal interface is a fantastic start but somewhat awkward to use.
I have an iPhone 5. The device does not work. I also tried it on my iPad 2 and iPad 3. There is a feature that let's you test the LED. Sometimes that feature works but mostly fail. When LED does light it is so feint that it is hard to see in a dark room. Don't waste time or money.
I got in on this Kickstarter project. Arrived today. Hardware looks good - small but bright. Installed app - adjustable blinking speed, LED color, etc. What I didn't expect is to have to RE-define all my mail accounts to have it monitor them. Why does it not just read them from notification center? Unhappy with this thing. Maybe it's me though. Tried to find out more about the software - went to read the manual online from the link IN the software.... takes me to a page advertising the product - not a guide. Tried the same URL in a web browser on a PC - same thing. Requiring a full second definitiion of all my mail accounts is unacceptable. Only thing this is good for is keeping dust out of my headphone port. I'm getting soured on Kickstarter projects ......
Works great for iOS6! Not complaining but just wanted to let you all know the MyLED doesn't support iOS7 just yet
