iBookshelf is NOT an eReader. You do not load actual books into this app. Instead, iBookshelf is designed to help you keep track of your personal book collection, whether your books are physical or digital copies.

Books are displayed sorted by your preference. You can search for books in your library, and enter a "loan status" to remember who you loaned the book to or borrowed it from. A new book can be entered automatically (enter ISBN and remaining data is loaded from the internet) or manually. It will even tell you where you can buy the book and how much it costs and where you can find a library with the book!

Used to work great. Now doesn’t show author and title is always in a foreign language.

650 book entries disappeared
ughbooklost

I had about 650 books in iBookshelf. While adding about 20 more today, all of a sudden all my books are gone. Not 1 shows up. I don’t think I’ve backed up in about 50 books + I’ll never remember which 50 it is or where they are. Ugh

I would like a refund

The app crashes whenever I try to add a single book to my library. DO NOT DOWNLOAD! APP IS A LEMON!

Excellent

Very useful and easy to use

No barcode match
Lukeandsarah

Not a single ISBN has matched the book I scan. Manual input is a pain. Not worth it.

works sometimes

I did finally finish entering all 583 of my books. It has functionality in that you can scan the ISBN barcode on the back of your books. Or you can enter in the barcode independently. However, after I got my books all entered it stopped working and I have not been able to get any response from the author. I can scan books but it won't save them. It does have the ability to back up the entire thing to an XL file which is great.

Terrible.

I upgraded from Lite due to the constant ad redirections. I managed to enter two books before it stopped allowing me to save new entries. The two entries I did manage to add in before glitch are show up as the same book until I click around between sort types. I spent $2 two enter two items and have under a minute of a working app.

So so app

Does not work great consistently. One day things scan I quickly and then the next I have to sit forever waiting to add multiple books. Freezes often. Sometime can't see the title to change it when it comes up wrong. If the wrong author comes up, you can't change it before you save the book or it won't save. Gotta save it then go back and fix the mistakes. If you scan multiple books and one of them is a duplicate, no matter what answer you give, it doesn't go back and let you save the other titles you scan. I always have to find something else to scan before it will ask me to save the rest.

Terrible Quality in Every way

Constantly crashed, couldn't scan the barcodes, couldn't find book covers, if I needed to type I couldn't see what I was typing. . . . Just terrible.
