My Library

My Library keeps all the information about your personal media collection at your fingertips. Separate tabs are available to display your books, movies, and compact discs, all ordered conveniently by title. You can search for items in your library, and enter a "loan status" to remember who you loaned the item to or borrowed it from. A new item can be entered automatically (enter ISBN, EAN, or UPC and remaining data is loaded from the internet) or manually. If you load the data from the internet, the item's cover image is loaded as well.

Needs fixing

3 stars for its usefulness. However, it often importa the wrong author or title. (I only use it for books) I'm trying to import all my collection 500+ books and after about 25 barcode scans it gets wonky. The imported data won't show up on the save screen. I can still save it and it'll be in the index, but I can't check if the info is correct and sometimes It won't upload all of them anyway. Even if I close the app and restart or restart my phone it doesn't fix. Just have to wait for it to fix itself.

This app is a great concept, but there are too many problems with it. My biggest issue is that it won't work with my computer even if I use Dropbox. My next biggest issue is that I need to maintain several libraries and there isn't a good way to sort the books separately, especially when there's more than one copy. Overall, I wish I hadn't wasted money on it.

This is simply an excellent app. It's well thought out and does exactly what it says it will do. One feature would get the fifth star: CUSTOM CATEGORIES NO REASON I SHOULD NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE A CATEGORY FOR DIGITAL COPIES; HOW ABOUT AN OPTION FOR ITUNES MOVIES....... Paying full price for this app and having to pay again for iPhone is just mean. You should hope one of your competitors doesn't come out with an app that covers these issues I would be willing to pay more just to be mean back :-/

I am mostly using it for books and movies. Love the ability to scan the barcode. An issue is that, sometimes, after scanning a lot of books the screen goes blank and you can't tell if the information has been scanned. The only way to fix it is to close the app and open it back up. Seemed to happen only on my iPhone. I am using the same app in my iPhone and iPad and I wish there was a way to synch the two without saving the file to both when new items are added. Love the ability to search by multiple avenues. Overall a good app.

Are you telling me that I spent $1.99 on the exact same app. Had problems with it because it closes by itself and is useless. To pay $3.99 for this app and it loads to exact same app that I paid $1.99 for.

Sorry; if you put your DAYS of work in the cloud, you LOSE all your data. My records are now GONE. Desperately needs sign in feature.

Since the last update this app has worked perfectly for me, absolutely love that u can change the apps color, i do wish the developer would either add a category or make a new app that includes video games and board games then my library would be all set :)
