Dish service is the worst satellite /tv service . I was told I was gonna pay a set price for 2 years . Guaranteed and I keep getting random charges that bring my monthly bill up . And end up paying much more than what I was told. I can’t wait to be over with the contract. Thieves

We tried Spectrum & Direct..... DISH is superior. Spectrum, for instance, doesn’t allow you to use the DVR button to record a show unless it’s the main receiver. Also, Spectrum doesn’t allow you to watch any recorded shows unless you watch through the main receiver. Direct’s menu screens are not smooth. Also, the guide for Direct & Spectrum isn’t specific to your purchased packages, you must pass through numerous channels to get to your purchased channels. I can open the guide on DISH and move one channel at a time up the list and never move off my purchased channels.

Loss of my local channels and the fact that every rain fall I lose the tv channels I have even if I’m taping a show it doesn’t get taped plus the fact that my old TV services would let me go back and watch the TV show that’s on my channel while I’m watching a taped show and watch it fully whereas Dish won’t allow it I can’t wait until my contract is up. I hate paying for a service with such low qualities as Dish but I’m stuck for 6 to 7 more months.

I had a very difficult time changing my service since all levels are not listed for a customer seeking to charge their service package.

you guys have the worst customer service, I have been overcharged for the past three months and no one seems to be able to help and I am fed up with dealing with it, will be canceling my dish after my next bill.

The title pretty much says it all. I had just spent a minimum of 45 minutes trying to write as fair a review as I was able to force myself to write, when I accidentally tapped too close to the bottom edge of the rectangular field provided for that purpose, and watched all that work just instantly disappear irretrievably somewhere into cyberspace! GRRR ? Refusing to even try to duplicate it from memory, I’ll merely say the following: In retrospect, that ‘poof’ was almost reminiscent of the experience encountered during a phone conversation with their customer service department. Now, I’m wondering how many people ~ who’re contemplating entry into a contractual agreement with a satellite tv service provider, or any company incurring recurring billing, for that matter ~ ever even consider going to their app/play store to look up that company’s app in order to read the available reviews. (Before writing this one, I noticed that there wasn’t a single review that said anything about Dish that was positive.) A minimum two year contract is a long time to have to put up with a service that’s worlds away from matching the hype; but, nonetheless, must be paid for, or be charged an early cancellation fee!
