Great, if you like paying and not receiving upgrades

Dolphin loversss

Download the app, then buy the upgrade, through the app, get the receipt from the AppStore, receive condescending crap from the developer when their crap doesn't upgrade. Awesome 100stars!

Great app with upgrade glitch

This really is a 5 Star app for function, ease of use, and promptness of support from the developer. However I almost gave it 4 stars because I experienced 2 issues in upgrading: First, DON’T use the “in app purchase” to remove the 50 title limit in the free version. The in app upgrade removes the limit but doesn’t convert your app to “Pro” so you might accidentally purchase it again. The two versions are otherwise identical - and excellent - so this not a deal killer. Second, after upgrading on my iPad, my iPhone version of the app wouldn’t connect to iTunes / App Store to recognize the prior purchase. Mr. Binnerup himself responded quickly to the latter issue (plus points!), directing back to Apple (minus points), but in the end it really was fixed by a simple iPhone restart so I guess he was right. To upgrade I recommend you back up your movie data by setting up the free user account, pay for the Pro version in the App Store, then log into your account and all your initial movie data will be restored. Please don’t whine about the $8 cost - it’s easily worth it. One competitors charges $15 plus $50 for their computer companion program. It feels like a very mature and polished app. The app includes media type such as DVD, BluRay, 3D, or 4K and lets you search for each (I am one of the minority who still seeks out 3D bluRays). Some competitors (Movie Buddy for example) do not. I also like that clicking a cast member immediately brings up the actors bio. Other apps (CLZ Movies for example) link you to external web sites for that which feels clunky. None of these apps will recognize every barcode. Adding those is usually very easy in My Movie, they have a built in internet search function which lists the potential matches. On the other side I found some old VHS barcodes with the same scan code as newer DVDs.

If you are a collector of movies this is he app for you. This app scans, searches, and organizes all your movie needs. It has different filters so you can have your collection organized pretty much any way you want. The best thing about the app is......your collection is always with you when you are out searching for new addition!!! 5⭐️ rating and highly recommend ?

Nice software but...

Overall a decent app. Would love to see MoviesAnywhere added (you can manually add it). Movies anywhere is a industry standard and needs to be included. Love to see link up with the TV app and sync the content from my collection.

Nice app to catalogue but it doesn't keep an accurate count.

I trailed and purchased the full version of this app to keep track of my 1200+ DVDs and Blurays. I love that it links to the IMDb info pages, has cover photos, and I can add filters like "John Carpenter" or "zombie" to quickly narrow down my list. What I'm not a fan of is that my collection count is not accurate. If I have #25 in my collection (a DVD) and and then upgrade to the new collector's Bluray which becomes #1201. If I sell the DVD and remove it from my collection, the #s stay the same. So now I'm not really sure how many films/discs my collection consists of because it just keeps adding #s despite my removing titles from the list. As some one buying this app to catalog and keep track of my films that doesn't really cut it.

I’m it able to open the app that’s on my phone. I have to go to the App Store, look it up and click on open. On my phone I get a iOS error. Very frustrating!!!
