I found this app in a search and thought it would benefit my service as a flight instructor...maybe. I have not been able to make it locate my position. As such, it defaults to Europe when opening. Seems to be accurate and updated in the pictorial display. Update: With a little review, I found the error is mine. This app now works great!
Ok could be better

Love the graphics when I am on the water. Sadly I can’t turn it off when I’m in the house. I’d love to see scale and an estimation of storm arrival times.

Love the concept but the app crashes as soon as I open it. No use to me at all. Update: the developer was very responsive, fixed the problem, and now it works fine. Excellent app, especially compared considering it's free.

This by far is the most accurate lightning app I have used. It is so accurate that I use it for pre-flighting before I fly my plane. Great App!
Great when it works

Very useful during intense storms But some times the app freezes up and has to be reinstalled. Other times new notifications are received that lightning is a few miles away but the app does not show it.

Crashing on iPhone 6s

Previous version was constantly crashing today. Upgraded version. Still crashing on iOS 11.2.6 at startup. Only way to prevent crash is to hit the settings icon during startup… but when you exit settings to the map screen… CRASH
