I had this app for years and I had years of password info on it and I feared losing my info sooo i decided to purchase the yearly subscription for the very purpose of not losing my info. Once I purchased it and went to log in ALLLLL my info was wiped clean. I lost everything. I know I should have backed up on iCloud or iTunes but now I feel sick to my stomach bc I have lost EVERYTHING!

I was a user for many years. They decided to disable and discontinue the last version without notice and without the opportunity to transfer data or upgrade existing account. I lost all of my passwords and user names that were secured for years. Now because of their greed and misconduct i have to change al Passwords and user names that I can’t remember. My recommendation,,,, find another app and delete this company from your memory.

Several years ago I purchased my eyes only Classic for $6.99. Today when I tried to sign in it told me password was incorrect (and it wasn't). What has this company done to my passwords?

I really like your MY EYES ONLY (CLASSIC) app. I've had it for a few years and have had absolutely NO problems with it until just a day or two ago after updating my iPhone6s Plus to iOS 11. Now, I'm locked out of your app and probably would have completely freaked out if I hadn't found your support blog with the constant updated information concerning your desire to rectify this problem. So I just want to say, "thank you..." for your diligence in hurrying to make your customers feel secure and at ease. I'm sure it's been a nightmare for you all just as it has been for us. But as long as you are aware of the situation AND you are working untiringly to bring this matter to a positive conclusion, I am grateful. Be encouraged...

I have been using this app for several years, on a daily basis, and all of a sudden, yesterday, it said my password was incorrect. I never changed my password, tried several Times to access (thought maybe I was “fat fingering” the keys somehow), then this app deleted all of my data because I tried the PW 5X. I have lost ALL of my passwords and critical information that I have saved and compiled in this app for many years. Completely frustrated and lost without my data. They have a new version (this one), but it does now allow for the porting over of information from the old version to the new. I guess they just scrapped the old version and made a new one without any concern for people that had been using that older version successfully for years? Way to go guys. Now I will have to find a new password keeper (not this one), find (or more likely reset all of the passwords in my life/world) and manually put them into a better and more dependable app. Very disappointed and frustrated that the developer decided I had nothing better to do with my time then reinvent the wheel due to their greed and/or laziness. Good luck with this one!


Really more of a question

I understand that the app is not working as it should, I don't believe I've done more than six consecutive attempts at opening the app, my question is how will it affect my data if I close the app and re-open the app and then attempt it again? Like I said, I have not had more than six consecutive attempts at opening the app, however I have tried several times more than that. If that makes sense And it appears that you're working on a fix, so you're suggesting just to be patient for a couple of days?? Thank you

The developer keeps saying they made a mistake with the classic version that I have been using for years and wait for an update. Well that didn’t help me at all after 5 times it deleted everything that I have stored for years!!! I don’t know what to do anymore as I have lost so much info. My eyes only classic doesn’t even exist anymore and we are forced to go to this BS pro. Not Me!! You screwed me ana so many people!

9-26-17 Developer found phone with old app and was able to duplicate the problem and therefor fix the problem. Update came out in Apple App Store update later today. Installed it and was able to get in to my passwords. Whew.......Hallelujah! Received several correspondence from president apologizing and trying to resolve the issue. My guess is that they learned very important lesson. I am still unhappy that you now have to sign up and pay for syncing service. That was one reason I originally went with this app. I don't want to sync to some server or iCloud. If you think encryption is not hackable then you need to talk to Equifax. I still have a trust issue and will probably download a second app like LastPass and just double enter my information. It's just to important to lose. I do give points for them probably working around the clock to resolve the issue. Have been using this app (classic) for many years. Worked great. Been through several updates even after they supposedly stopped supporting this version and no problem. Didn't want to update to Pro version and didn't want to put all my passwords on some backup or in the cloud. Like the rest of the people who used this, as of the recent update we can no longer get into the app to retrieve any passwords. My life was in that app. What a way to build trust....NOT! So then they want to hold you hostage and pay money to upgrade the app. So what happens in another few years down the road when they change from Pro to Premium or some other stupid name. This app shut down in one day without warning. All their website says is "sorry we can't help you". What a load of BS. If you want to go through all the frustration we are going to be going through for the next months or years trying to reconstruct what we lost, by all means go ahead and download this app. Good Luck and thanks a lot you POS company.

This is a great app but subscription? Why not just charge a one time fee? It’s outrageous. I think your rating would be better if you do that cos more people would purchase it too. Think about that.
