Won’t work on PK7

I can’t get the app to work on my LG-PK7. It worked on my old android phone but then I transferred to an iPhone and it doesn’t work anymore. Can someone help!?

After resetting speaker (xboom go pk5), rebooting devices (iPhone & iPad) and reloading app numerous times I couldn’t get the app to connect. The devices connect to speaker and play music but app doesn’t recognize that Bluetooth speaker is connected. Even called LG support they told me to reset speaker by holding down the power button for 10 sec then trying again but no luck. They said that lg xboom app was no longer supported but the that lg Music Flow Bluetooth app should work but neither worked. So I dug up an android phone and load the app and it worked and was able to install the firmware update which did improve the sound a bit more.

The last time this app was updated was 10 months ago. It refuses to recognize my LG SH7B soundbar even though Bluetooth is connected and music will play. LG should remove this app. It has no value beyond creating user angst and giving LG a black eye. I was considering an LG OLED purchase but this lack of concern for a customer after the sale has caused me to reconsider my choices. If your company is unable to produce a reliable product-Don’t bring it to market.

Same prblm as everyone on here!! App doesn’t recognize the PK7 unit even though it plays fine. Cannot get that darn firmware upgraded. Anything!? Or just do it from an Android phone?
Does not work, does not connect Bluetooth. Only works on ANDROID phones !!!

I recently bought a LG XBOOM PK7 and to my surprise this app does not work. It does not connect at all with my sim box. The ANDROID version works perfectly. What a shame LG.
