Update Flawed

Jchesss

After the most recent update the headband stopped pairing. The App recognizes the headband but won’t connect.

Good product gone bad

Sadly this company is like too many other companies in this niche - they create a great meaningful product but in a blink of some success they change the focus and just shoot for the profit and forget about quality and integrity. The original headband and app was a game changer a real innovation which generated interest and excitement but the second generation of the app and device is a major disappointment. The app is clunky and fraught with bugs and the cost of the guided options is highway robbery - given the cost of the second generation headband (even though the second generation is clearly cheap and flimsy compared to the original). The battery life is woeful and the app performs likewise - woefully. Really this company needs to go back to the drawing board both with its manufacturing choices and pricing expectations. It’s not too late - but I doubt they can transition back to a truely quality product because they will really have to put the customer first and their large profits in balance.

I was so happy I got gifted this!

I kept asking for Christmas if anyone would get me muse!! So happy they did! I try and tell any beginners with meditation to start here! Even tho I have gotten better I still love using this to truly quite the mind! At the end when you see how many birds pop up, it’s truly a reward!

No idea how you guys managed to mess it up

But the app no longer registers my device. And it’s not the device or my phone, as another app registers the Muse just fine.

Waste of my money

Excellent investment for your health

I’ve been using the Muse since it first came out and bought the latest version as well. I especially love the guided meditation subscription option. It has deepened my practice. The guided meditations are excellent and there is a wide array to choose from. I love this product and it helped me to really develop meditation as a habit which has allowed me to lead a team at work and be more emotionally aware and in tune.

Found a bug-> still no fix

Rascal789

Found a bug, there is a glitch between human speaking and background music, when I reported this they asked for details, saying they they cannot replicate error. Later said others complained of the same... now they do replicate the glitch, BUT since not many people complained... they will not fix. really???? Updated: was asked to update OS, told them that the fix wasn’t there since the bug started with muse update, still tried. Didn’t help!!! After years of muse use, I’ve stopped using it. Hope they fix it soon.

Love it

This headband is really helping me learn to quiet my mind. I’ve been using it for a month now and I can tell a big difference in my daily life.

Fun and Quantitative for someone who struggles with Vague and Ambiguous

HappyCustomerIAm

I’ve never been into meditation before but using Muse has made it fun and quantitative for someone like me who struggles with vague and ambiguous ideas or practices. The walk throughs are really nice and simply structured and taking a chance to just pause for a few minutes each day has felt great! I’d recommend it to anyone that wants to give meditation a try!

Actually works, from a skeptic

So I bought a Muse 2, along with a few other more commercial devices, for research on brain EEGs. I thought the muse wouldn't have much value. I was never entirely convinced about meditation. Now, trying this for testing, it definitely makes a difference. I only do the 3mins for testing and try to get the birds. Anyway, perhaps it kind of quantifies meditation by measuring your brain waves, and you learn how to get to that state in a few seconds. And perhaps that makes all the difference. Good luck, and thanks to the developers for creating an elegantly simple and surprising effective app.
