Love This HeadBand

Chrisrtehsichw

The gap between technology and mediation is typically thought of as a huge gap. That gap alone had me very skeptical about buying a headband. I talked myself into buying one just to monitor my current practice and to boost it with reaffirmations of doing it effectively and effectively. Boy did that pay off I learned a few new tricks that I’m convinced would have taken me years to settle into without this head band. Time is what we are all lacking in this world and so to find something that can help save time is a hell ya for me. My pineal gland feels more active and I have been feeling more overall improvement in my stress and health from a mental stand point. I’m extremely excited to see how the future will be with the aid of the band. NOTE: By no way is this a miracle one stop shop you have to do the inner work and studying. I have been studying and reading meditation and other holistically practices for years. This is just a great tool to improve your practice with you applied knowledge.

The Device is great but the app needs improvement

I have been using the muse 2 device since September 2019 and it is providing a very good meditations support but the app needs improvement on tracking the quality of meditation particularly the breath section is not accurately tracking in the current version (23.1). There is no also a combined support of brain, heart, body & breath meditation.

Muse Biofeedback

I just got this setup yesterday. I’m a long time meditator, but this app and hardware push me to stay more focused than I do catching myself off base and bringing myself back on my own. The chirping birds are a fun reward. I’ve always wanted to try biofeedback because it made sense to me that it would do just what this does, but the opportunities for me to try it were rare and expensive, like in the thousands of dollars. Recently I read Unstoppable by Ben Angel who recommended Muse as an adjunct to meditation so I jumped at the chance and I’m not disappointed.

Great accessory to my meditation

The muse helps me stay on track during meditation. I am really enjoying this new addition.

Very helpful guide

Love this!

I started yoga right before my husband got this for me. It has helped with my daily mediation and falling asleep so much. It teaches you techniques to quiet your mind. I have two you g boys and I am still able to meditate. Amazing!!

Feedback for improvement

TianyuZJames

Hi, I love to use the new Muse S headband, but I’d like to use it for work purposes such as concentration. (Measure it using a combination of things like repeated action pattern from accelerometer, hear rate pattern, brainwave pattern and etc) Could you guys add another section called work/study besides meditation and go to sleep mode? It’s very inconvenient to use go to sleep mode to measure my data in work. And third party software doesn’t support heat rate monitor and doesn’t analyze the data for newbie. Thanks

Slow, extremely laggy version.

I love Muse. It taught me how to meditate and vastly improved my practice ever since. But this version of the app lags terribly and is barely usable, even in airplane mode. Without airplane mode, it is non-responsive. Please fix it!!!

Please have the “Journal Entry” visible right below the “Mediation History”.

Hello, There has been many instances where I jot down beautiful thoughts or epiphanies I have as I mediate and I quickly do so on the “Journal Entry” section, afterwards. And, sometimes I like to go back on them / or go back to the specific Journal I had written. It would be amazing if the “Journal Entry” appeared right below the specific Mediation — right on that very page. I hate having to scroll thru my past mediations one-by-one and then, opening them, then having to click on “Tap to View the “Journal Entry”, for each and every single thoughts that I have written! It is very unfriendly UX. Please include that in your next update, Muse. As it would be very handy for many, many users across the globe who use that feature! Also, finally when the session gets interrupted during the meditation period, and we open our eyes to fix the headband, and after we see the colours filling up the circle, why is there no option to automatically start the meditation? I mean why do we have to manually click “Resume”? I wish it was just automatic. Because it hampers with the whole process of closing the eyes, and getting into that state. I wish we could fix the band and it take us right back to the medication process. Instead of manually clicking a button. Thanks, MESH
