Worst app ever

Take this behind the barn and shoot it. This is the worst app of all time. It’s great to watch a show for 25 minutes to glitch out and try to even get it working again. Then if you counter that hurdle, enjoy the 15 minutes of adds. No wonder Viacom is tanking in stocks. Putting this crap out makes sense now. Huge challenge fan but this is all but done for me because of this moronic app. Good job DEVs is making the worst steaming app ever!
Had trouble logging in with cable provider

My main gripe was being unable to login with my cable provider. Whenever I went to “unlock all content”, it would pull up a log in screen for a cable company I did not have and there was no button to switch providers. As soon as I pressed cancel to exit the screen, the app would freeze and then crash. I had to uninstall and then reinstall the app and press “don’t allow” for everything before I could successfully get to the screen to choose my correct cable provider and log in. It appears this app could use some improvements.

So many ads. Plus, the ads do not have audio nor do they play correctly. Update. Audio works. You can’t miss how well it works because it so loud that I hate every product or brand that I see. Feb. 2022. You’re the worst app. You make it so hard to use what I already pay for that I will just stop paying and start pirating. If you make me jump through 85 hoops to confirm I have the right to view it, it’s not worth it and I’ll just get it for free elsewhere. Why not take the money and be happy.

You watch more ads than show, it feels like. The frequency of ad breaks is insane. It’s so annoying, I’ll probably delete the app and find another way to watch. BRUTAL.
To hard to watch shows on an actual tv

I download the mtv app so I could watch new shows that aren’t on paramount +. Such as nee episodes of the challenge, siesta key and the hills. Which is quite frustrating when every one of these shows I’m watching on the mtv app will have an advertisement to download paramount + to stream my favorite shows. Well I can’t stream these favorites on paramount + as previously stated. What also is annoying is that the Mtv app is clearly not supported with “tv mirroring” since every time I try to mirror my tv with my phone watch my 3 shows it plays the audio but doesn’t show the picture. Then when I try to use my phone to manage this, the app goes completely grey. To the point where I have to completely close out of the app and try again. We have Hulu live, paramount +, prime, Netflix and still the only way to watch those NEW shows is through the app on my phone by using my google account.

This app doesn’t work at all!!! Terrible. Please fix the glitches!!! It just buffers the whole time, or freezes on the MTV ICON, or says I need to subscribe on this on my provider WHICH I ALREADY PAY FOR IT ON MY CABLE PACKAGE. Please fix this!!

Downloaded the app to watch my shows but every other TV provider except Xfinity is listed. Makes no sense, the app is useless then to watch shows. How do you not have one of the largest providers on here?

I subscribe to this network through my TV provider but this app is inconsistent with allowing you to use the app. I watch 2 shows through the app and it’ll work for a few episodes then it’ll say I’m not subscribed and stop working for awhile then suddenly it’ll work again and then back to not working again. It’s quite annoying to the point that I’m losing interest in the shows all together because of how inconsistent this app works with my subscription.

I like the app. It allows me to catch up on shows I didn’t know they were still making, one of them being Jersey Shore. With that said, there a couple of things I do not like. 1) there’s soooo many ads. Cable doesn’t even have that many commercials. I get it, it’s a free app so there will be some ads, but is there really a need for ads every 5 minutes lasting longer than 1 minute? 2) it’s an MTV app but they don’t even have the full season of some MTV shows. I just finished Jersey Shore Family Reunion season 2 on Hulu, which doesn’t have season 3 or 4, so I was hoping to watch season 3 and 4 on this app, nope, this app only has season 4, so not even the full series of Jersey Shore Family Reunion. Is there anyway these can be fixed?
