Great Learning Tool

Unknown!

This app is great for learning Morse code in a variety of ways. It has the CWops trainer and it lines up with the level 1 classes perfectly. It can decode at different speeds to see how well you are sending. It’s worth every dollar. I’d give it a fifth star if the user interface were to be simplified. Currently, it presents far too many settings that I don’t need to twiddle and the features that I do want are under the “...” menu.

1 I love the app in general 2 I love how the app creator is roasting on the people who say the app is trash hahaha 3 I’m disappointed with how I didn’t find 1 review in Morse code .... .- .... .-

Just use Koch training method in this App

Docedward

Read Breaking the Barrier and use Koch method and you’ll be Amazed. Ok so I’m only on 5 letters but it’s at ~15 WPM. Crazy. I’ve tried for 4 years and could never break 5 WPM.

Great app for learning and exploring morse

I've tried some other offerings both online and other apps. This is the best route I've found so far to learning CW. You should plan to get the in app purchase though. I particularly like the feature where you can tap code and get immediate feedback on how well you were understood by seeing the text form of your message. For example I meant to tap an "a" but got "et" instead. This is also interesting for seeing what mistakes turn into (eg n becomes m, a, or i). Bottom line, I've definitely spent more time practicing since getting this app.
