This app has greatly accelerated my learning of CW and I would highly recommend it. The tap feature lets you practice sending anytime anywhere with instant feedback. Once you are ready to start using CW on the air, the decoder helped me to feel more comfortable picking up those hard to recognize words and also confirm that my transmitted code was accurate (well most of it). Buy the app... and immediately purchase the premium options. They are well worth the price. Enjoy 73

Great for anyone interested in CW. Super rich feature set with tons of flexibility. One thing I would love to see is the developer create a custom keyboard app. Or add that functionality to the current app. Google just added a Morse code keyboard to Gboard, but it’s horrible. And the othermorse keyboards I’ve seen are not much better. The iambic keyboard you get with in this app is great. I love how you can just keep your finger on the screen and slide back and forth to hit the dits and dahs. All while being super responsive. Now if I could just use that as an entry keyboard in other apps that would be perfect. Keep up the good work. The app is great??

3 or 4 days and I feel like I’m able to send at 10wpm. Still working on listening. Treat it like a language, immerse yourself, and it comes quickly. Speed comes with practice.

Any feature you think you bought is a “premium feature “. Dumped it 10 minutes after downloading it.

I’ve tried a bunch of programs and methods to learn CW. This is the first one where I see confirmed progress. I set the CWOPS speed to 30-35 and run thru the sections and don’t proceed until I nail the section. I try to use it daily for at least 15 mins. Highly recommend.

The iambic keyer behaves erratically. At times you will touch dit and it will give you a dah. The cw interpreter requires perfect millisecond timing, something a human can not do. However, if one pause was slightly to short or too long, a human listening on the other side of a QSO would not be able to tell the difference. In the cwops academy, these little time differences make you have to totally start the exercise over. Fine when it is one or 2 words. A nightmare when you get to the QSO sections. It seems you can hardly get to the 4th word without some small variation forcing you to start all over again.

I have purchased several, looking for good functionality. All others so far have been difficult to understand or limited. Morse it does exactly what I have been searching for. Start with this app. I later added the upgrade. Upgrade is very worthwhile.

Without premium futures of five bucks, it is no point to purchase as there are already many free alternatives with all non-premium features. Don’t get me wrong - the app itself is very good. However, their selling logic is hooligan, at least as far as I see it.
