Morningstar is one of the most useful financial apps ever! Once you enter the market symbol of all of your investments and the price at purchase (including entering the purchase price again each time you buy the same stock you already own), you’re done. This app keeps track of all of the markets’ minute-by-minute fluctuations and by simply pulling down on the screen and releasing it, updates the current market values. You can add any investment you own as long as it has a symbol associated with any of the world’s markets. I use it many times a day just to “check in” to see what’s happening in the broad financial markets as well as my own investments. You’ll love it ? ‼️

Commentary and news are not updated frequently as compared with the Morningstar website. No much to differentiate this App from any number of ticker trackers. So, doesn’t M want to have a mobile presence?

I use MorningStar as an absolute tool of acquiring the ability to quantify risk and reward. Quantifying Risk & Reward for all my investments and syndicated articles published.

Great ability to track your portfolio as well as plan for the future. Lots of data fields for deciding “what to do next”. Has been invaluable as we march toward retirement.

Are used to think the iPhone app was better than the iPad app, although neither is particularly great. However the iPhone app has stopped updating the news and I cannot find any convenient way to make it go out and find something that is happened in the last two weeks. Nah. Plus, the refusal to accept a rating/ comment without choosing a nickname is a joke. Down to one star.

I am a new premium customer and I love the mobile portfolio app. It even provides the updates of the value of my individual stocks in dollars . This does not happen on my desktop portfolio tracker. That causes me to use the old yahoo portfolio on my desktop. Please update the desktop tracker to show the dollar value throughout the day.
