I’m a daily user and a premium subscriber, because I used to be able to track my portfolio better with this app than some others. However, recent updates have made the app worse: 1. news section does not update...my news feed is stuck from last week. I have tried to refresh, uninstall/reinstall, etc, and nothing works. 2. In the portfolio view, scrolling is buggy..the app freezes a couple of times every day when I try to scroll. 3. Prior versions of the app, used to list both the stock symbol and stock name in the portfolio view. Now only the symbol is listed which is very inconvenient if you track a lot of stocks. 4. Some of the stock prices, in the portfolio view and even the top 10 stock lists do not show real-time prices even 15-20minutes after the market opens. However, if you click the stock symbol and open the stock page, you can see the current price movement. Morningstar used to be my go to app every day, but not anymore, due to above basic inconsistencies.

It’s a list of my portfolio but I can find no way to put in the number of shares owned and hence track total value.

The new changes are a step backward. They stopped updating commentary and added no new obvious features. Very disappointing.

The Morningstar news tab on my iPhone has not updated in 19 days. Morningstar said they know about the problem but it is not fixed. Unacceptable.

The current market data is what’s expected, but the news hasn’t updated since I installed this app on my iPhone. Don’t waste your time downloading this app. Just go to the website

Morningstar looks to emulate Starbucks as the next agent for social engineering but can’t seem to get their news app off the May Italian financial meltdown.
