My holy grail mood tracker

THIS IS THE BEST MOOD TRACKER IN THE APP STORE. GET IT. II can’t say enough good things about this app. I had been looking for a way to track my moods, and nothing was working out. I tried a handwritten bullet journal that was fun at first, but became too cumbersome to carry and update throughout the day. Many of the other mood tracking apps lacked features I needed, or had additional features I knew I would never use. This app is just right. You log your mood by first choosing a numerical rating for how you're feeling generally. For example, a 1 would mean you were feeling pretty poor overall, whereas a 5 would mean you're feeling great. I actually ended up changing the numbers so I could rate on a scale of 1-10, which is one of the best features of this app - it's extremely customizable. Then, you choose a word from a pre-existing list to describe your mood. The app comes with some obvious basic options like "happy" or "angry," and you can add whatever other moods you'd like. Finally, you have the ability to indicate factors that you think may be affecting or causing your mood. Stressed at work? Didn't get enough sleep? Fight with your partner? You can add any of these from a list, which again comes with some preset options and the ability to add anything you want. There is also a journal option to make additional notes if needed. Each mood or factor is represented by an emoji. This is customizable: you can choose your emoji for each mood or factor. The options are included as a function within the app rather than using your phone's native emoji list. There are ample choices, but there is no way (that I've found) to do a text search for a particular emoji. You just have to scroll through the list until you find what you want. This is perhaps the one thing I would love to see added to the app, the ability to do a text search for emojis. For viewing your entries for a particular day: you can see the mood you entered, the numerical rating, any factors or journaling notes, and the time you entered it. There is also the ability to see your numerical mood represented graphically over time (i.e. past 7 days, past 30 days, etc.) and it will also show the mood words and factors for that period, as well as how many times you used that mood or factor. Aesthetically, the app is beautiful with clean lines and nice colors. Navigation within the app was not intuitive for me, but it was easily figured out within a couple days. Overall this is a fantastic app, and I found it more than worth it to purchase the upgrades. Thrilled that I've finally found exactly what I was looking for and do not have to keep searching.

Easy, Rich & Powerful

I had an emotions app that I enjoyed but I thought I would try this one because I really liked “DONE” which is by the same developer. I have found the same simple easiness which enables me to decide quickly that I will probably get the premium version. My other emotions app doesn’t offer the volume of emojis and most important the flexibility that I’m seeking to help me grasp what I’m dealing with and try to alter it. KUDOS to the DEVELOPER!

Magic ?
HIT OR MISS ?

I downloaded but when i tried to use ut it disappeared of course I thought my brothers deleted it but then I tried to download again it said it is already downloaded so i went to settings to delete it and to download again but it said that there is no app called “moody...” therefore i hate this app and i wasted my storage and I barely have any left please help i need my storage back

This is a fantastic app for keeping track of your moods. I use it to keep track of when I'm feeling hurt by something.. a lesson I learned from Ray Dalios book 'principles'.. much like the pain button he talks about. I record when I'm hurt by something so I can remove the thoughts from my mind. Then I come back to them when I'm feeling better and have clear ways to addressing the hurt. That way I don't make the same mistakes. I'd love to see the team make more journal apps or even adding additional categories to put my moods and thoughts grouped/organized. Keep up the great work!

Perfect for beginners

I always struggled to Journal because of laziness and various micro barriers. Moody makes mood journaling so simple and engaging (the app convinced me to leave my iPhone off silent) that I have been able to stick to it for a month straight. Definitely give it a shot if you struggle to stick to journaling.

This is a great app

This is great! I like the icons and customization. I wish it worked on iPads too though. I also wish you did not have to pay to get so many features because I am a kid. But I understand that it cost money to make a good app. Thank you

Stupid app
Cloi2

Thanks for making me pay to keep track of my life. Dev’s obviously only doing this for a money grab. App is horribly simplistic to make me pay for it.

Sadly you can only see the count of e.g. coffees you had in the day, but you can’t see if your mood changed specifically after having coffee, you only see the total count.
