Monstalicious!

Kiradawn31

I find Monster one of the easiest job sites to work with. Easy. Smooth. Good Leads! God Bless Everybody.

Flabbergasted

amyüberalles

It’s almost insulting how poorly curated the job recommendations are. I have only been shown tech and coding positions - something WAY outside my experience bubble. I also got slammed with spam email as soon as I set up my account. For a company that’s been around as long as Monster, I am severely disappointed. Bush league.

Don’t use it!!!

If only I could give this a zero star rating! There’s no way to access the message inbox on this app!

Can’t search for remote jobs

clipclopcomplainalot

Requires a location to begin searching. The option to find remote work was necessary before COVID and now the lack of that feature is enough to kill this service.

Ineffective & Outdated

LynneeD

Having just completed a job search, I cringed every time I received an email notification from Monster. I would receive messages that a prospective employer was trying to reach me, and every time the messages were DAYS old. None were relevant, and I had to jump through several screens to even locate the messages. Not available on the mobile app, apparently. I had active searches going with Indeed, LinkedIn, ZipRecruiter, Glass Door & Monster — that’s how I would rank them from best to worst. Monster is garbage. Don’t waste your time!

Monster experience

I have been looking for a job for a long time, monster has always been helping me with good leads. Submitting resume is simple and quick. I highly recommend them.

Worst Job Search App

cd034222214

The moment I signed up and uploaded a resume I have been BOMBARDED with random calls from jobs I never even applied to and 90% of them aren’t even jobs within my area. I have been blocking numbers left and right but the calls just keep coming! I’ve tried everything to make them stop to no avail. Do yourself a favor and avoid Monster.com. They sell your information and you get non stop calls all day long. I should have just stuck with Indeed!

Not in Chicago!

RieDefine

No matter what I do, I can’t get jobs to show up anywhere near where I’m at! I’m in Utah, and the only jobs suggested, even after searches and filters, are in Chicago! Absolutely useless app!

Just what you need!

Lico71

Doesn’t take long, good luck in your search.

For real

ShellisonBeef

I downloaded the app because the website was taking forever to load my messages. However this app does not let you view your messages. Seriously couldn’t figure how to pack that one in there huh? That’s got to be part of the minimum viable product for this app, so this app isn’t viable. The layout is also clunky. Just use the slow website if you must.
