This dumbed down app has pathetic features! Almost every other job search app is better! Even my local newspaper app has better functionality! What happened to being an industry leader, Monster? You’re a FAR cry from that with this app. I diligently filled out my profile with my location, experience, and education. I’m in Utah, with 20+ years of administrative and office management experience, but no degree. In the worst “job search” section in the industry, the recommendations I received include: Biomechanical Engineer in Florida, Physical Therapist in Colorado, Bus Driver in Ohio, Lawyer in New York, etc. And let’s not forget the Lyft, Uber, RN, MLM, and spam listings. If I want to enter my own search parameters, I can choose keyword, location, OR industry. Where are the options for part or full time, level, distance from home, etc.? Where are the filters?!? I can either look for admin jobs OR jobs near me (most still aren’t even close) OR industry and then wade through screen after screen after screen of completely irrelevant options! Also, I can only choose from the industries Monster sees fit to show me. No option for a career change with this app! If I do manage to find a relevant job, it will usually require a degree or be out of state. And WHY is my current job listed LAST? If it was first, my profile title would be accurate and more appealing to potential hiring managers.

Could not get past registration. Filled out all information and kept getting error messages. I know it’s possible to miss things and make mistakes, but confirmed 3 times info was entered, still kept giving error messages. Deleted app

All I get is calls of scams and harassing calls from foreigners about jobs I never heard of or none I never applied to. This crap app is a joke.

With all the apps available and multiple apps with same logo, i get an email saying there is a message from the message center. Takes me to website and if i open through app, I cannot locate message center. Wants me to open multiple monster apps. It is one of the worst apps so far I have come across. Not worth your time to navigate.

Pros- Zero Cons- No jobs n my area. Not even close in location. Instead of getting resources or networking emails, I get a ton of spam junk mail.

Any other job app will translate your resume into their profile setup. Not Monster. Monster thinks I’m going to add y Jo’s one by one. Ha! Monster just lost me. Deleting my account. Which isn’t a bad thing I got nothing from them. Run from this app unless you don’t have that much job experience. Or you don’t mind listing 30 years of jobs! Even 4 is too many! Get your act together Monster!

I started a profile, listed my resume, and applied for the few decent jobs I could find. Mind you the job listings were trash… mostly consisting of telemarketing and low paying call centers. The next day I started getting several texts, calls and emails for jobs that sound like scams. The calls came from different numbers with the same area code, and didn’t sound like they were in the U.S. The emails and texts were missing words. A legitimate job wouldn’t do this. I removed my resume and deleted the app.

I can’t sign in using my google account and says “Error. There was a problem” every time. I can’t sign in any other way using the app as I made the account using the google sign-in and it makes sure to tell me that.
