Great only for the rendition horrible customer service

I originally bought about $4000 worth of products from modsy. I then started researching some of the products that I bought and found them at a much lower price plus free shipping from other sites. Modsy never answers the phone so they in turn make customers email them. I purchased my products in March 7 and I am still 4 weeks later going back and forth regarding missing items from my order. 1. Shipping is crazy expensive and delivery is not professional. 2. I had an couple of random men drop off my item with a spray painted truck. 3. No PPE and no shoe covers so I did not let them in my home 4. Modsy does not itemize your order to see what you are paying for the item and what you are paying for the shipping until you purchase your items 5. I had to cancel several orders because they were not in stock or discontinued although it was I. Stock when purchased 6. Shipping takes forever and tracking is not updated 7. Typically saved 300-$400 for buying the same exact product from another vendor and free shipping Would I use them again? Yes for the idea for the room and I would buy off of the brand’s website!

The designer I worked with was very responsive and professional and did a nice job. However, she put my design together in a couple days and I could have done that myself, as I already knew my style and had been thinking through the design already. The value to me was in the 3D layout of my room and the ability to try different layouts or swap items to try new things. It doesn’t work. I could not move things without requesting a design change. Swapping items worked half the time, but took about a minute to load each time. It also resulted in items clearly not being proportional (chairs higher than table, etc.) Then they are limited to the furniture of their partners. If you have the money to spend on the luxe design, just go to an actual interior designer. You will find it’s actually not as pricey as you might think. That’s what I ended up doing.

Poor Rendering and mediocre design

The 3D rendering is pretty low quality. I can find many online websiteS that provide the same service for free. The design is also really poor, not worth the ~400 bucks at all. I can pick a better set of furnitures in 5 minutes.

I recently moved into a beautiful apartment in NYC and I really wanted to turn it into a home. I as looking online for affordable designers and it’s just not a thing in the city. I purchased a package on Modsey and it was the best thing I’ve ever done. Joanna is my designer and she’s amazing! I’m a very visual person so this app allowed me to see everything exactly how I want it with products that I actually want!! The fact that you get unlimited designs and get to keep them for life and continue to play with it is the cherry on the cake. Truly amazing! I highly recommend it!
Design service fine but don’t buy from them

DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM THEM! Items I did buy were extremely poor quality (like bolts that barely screw into the designated slots to assemble) and when I tried to cancel an item that is not due to ship for months they said there is nothing to do until the vendor got back to them, with no timeline for how long that would be (but apparently over 10 days and counting)
Use the resign do not order through them

They are great at designing but don’t order from vendors you can order yourself I put an order in April. It sat in their queue for two months , they went to place It - sold out . This happened on a few orders. Thanks Danee
