The app and website ordering are horrendous. Adding a new payment method and address are so frustrating. You're surely losing business this way. Oh, and the site wouldn't take my full name while adding a payment method. It wasn't until I used just my first name that the payment method worked. How is that a good thing?
Great Food TERRIBLE APP and I have dozens

It took 30 minutes to set up, kept kicking me out and not intuitive. It took me 30 minutes to set up and order lunch. I was trying to avoid the line at the restaurant and this terrible app was worse than the line at the restaurant. I had to go back in 3 times to set up and 4 times to place my order. I would love to know who at their corporate office was in charge of this piece of work!

The Green Chicken Chili is the best ever! Pizza is pretty good too. Heard the Avocado Toast is OK. Love paying with the app!

I’ve reviewed this app twice before, it has taken some iterations but it works great now. The food is consistent and good. The app manages the loyalty program, discounts and payment well. The food is prepared quickly and often ready when I get to Modern Market and I only live 3 blocks away. All around good program and app!
This app is terrible

Y’all should be ashamed. You’re better off without the app. Location services doesn’t work, profile information doesn’t carry over, nothing saves, etc. Seriously, fire whoever at levelup is assigned to this app. Garbage.

A Couple days ago I ordered one of the build your bowl options. Thought I’d try the salmon. The app said that the bowl comes with salmon and rice and you can add to it. So I added roasted vegetables. My husband picked up our order came home and I had a tiny little piece of salmon and a few roasted vegetables, some kind of green sauce an NO RICE. I was shocked at how little food there was. It was also ice cold so I heated everything up. I have to say everything tasted excellent once it was heated. However I was still taken aback at how little food there was and that my rice was not included. I particularly liked the green sauce that came with the dish however. So today I thought I’d try again and specify very clearly please do not forget the rice. When I went picked up my order I looked in the bag to make sure the rice was there. Drove home, took my food out of the bag and again very little food. But at least my rice was there. But there was no green sauce!! Again disappointed. Once again I heated the food and it tasted really good but was disappointed that there was so little food AND something was missing. I really like modern market but wonder why the portions have decreased substantially over the last year. The app is also hit and miss. I’m not sure what’s going on or if they’re doing adjustments or what but if you’re not sure, write exactly what you want in the notes section. Otherwise I love the food I just wish they’d work out the kinks.

Modern Market’s food and in-store customer service is great! Unfortunately their app has s lot of room for improvement. The UI needs to be more logical. If you hit the back button it takes you back to square one. Plus the app is buggy. After 20 minutes I was still unable to place my order. Luckily I came up with a brilliant solution and ordered pizza from my favorite place instead. Maybe next time I’m out shopping I’ll stop by for a bite to eat, but I’ll never use the app to order online again.
