Realistic Interface:
Interact with your thermostat, lights, keypads, switches, scenes, and other devices as if you were standing in front of the actual device. Press and hold the switch to fade a device or scene. Double tap the switch to turn the device or scene instantly on. Tap the thermostat to change temperature and operation modes.
Touch Note:
MobiLinc HD comes with a message center feature called Touch Note. Using your finger, leave a message on the home screen for a family member or loved one. To clear, use a two finger swipe across the screen or shake the iPad. Touch Note can be disabled under Settings.

Great product for home automation

I spent quite a bit of money changing from ADT and ridiculous $60 per month fee to an Insteon system. The best part of this transformation was going to an ISY module and integrating it with this Mobilinc app. Setup is simple and quick. The screens are self- explanatory. And any questions are probably already answered in the FAQ on the website. I have had to contact support a couple of times and response to my emails has always been quick and thorough. When I make changes to my ISY system, a quick stop and restart on my Mobilinc retrieves all the latest changes. Notifications for each sensor are easy to setup and the response time from time of state change to the push notification is within seconds. I am very satisfied with my system and Mobilinc app and I'm saving a ton of money since dumping ADT.

MobiLinc is phenomenal. Here you have a sleek, modern, ready-to-go app that is beautifully customizable. The developer thought of everything right down to customizable images for your devices. I use this app wth the ISY-994i and the interface is superb. A major plus with this app is that, if desired, the user has full control over how data flows. With MobiLinc, I do not have to rely on any DIY/"big box"/name brand server for this to function. I do not have to give my email to anyone. I don't have a monthly service fee nor do I have to worry about a third party server I do not control. Regarding the app itself, the user interface is beautifully crafted. It is so well done and customizable that if one is searching for the perfect graphic user interface (GUI), for example, for wall-mounted iPads in a home automation project, MobiLinc is an exceptional platform. I have done this in my own home and am constantly asked "who designed your automation system." It is always fun to say I did it; however, this would not have been possible without MobiLinc. In summary, this app is clearly a labor of love for the developer. There are frequent updates, communication with technical assistance is outstanding, and the product is just plain awesome! To those who feel this app is to expensive, consider what you get for the price! The alternative is to pay for someone to come into your house and set up something costing up to hundreds, if not thousands of dollars. Personally, I feel MobiLinc is actually quite a bargain. This is the kind of app developer I support and would take my time to praise with a positive review. I hope MobiLinc continues to grow since this is one of those apps that once you start using it, you wonder how you lived without it. It has saved me time, money, and looks absolutely sharp.
An Okay App and a Good App

Considering all it does, it's a good app, except for the Geofence portion. I'm told there is a lot of limitation because of the way Apple recognizes location, using Wi-Fi and tower locations. Still, I've had no consistency in getting garage door to open or close. Not sure if it has anything to do with sensor status, as I've had issues where the Mobilinc status different from the ISY. I recommend the purchase, but hope updates and technology will soon end my frustrations.

Updated: MobiLinc now works with Amazon Alexa! This new skill works great! So cool to be able to ask Alexa to turn on and off, and even dim, my lights. She even controls my scenes! Excellent job integrating two of my favorites! MobiLinc is truly awesome! I have it installed on both my iPhone & iPad and it allows me to connect (via MobiLinc Connect) seamlessly and easily to multiple homes. I have saved much more than the cost of the app by turning off the AC when the house is empty. I can control remote homes from anywhere! Besides all that, the customer service is amazing! Excellent!

We added Echo and this Alexa app to our Mobilinc App / system this weekend and the results are outstanding! The integration of these systems and apps works flawlessly and makes Echo worth it's price. The setup was fast and simple now allowing our family and friends to fully use our home automation with only their voice. The behind the scenes integration of the products is transparent as it should be. We are looking forward to the Mobilinc Echo future connected home suite and as always Mobilinc's customer service is top notch!

This app lacks many things and has many bugs: There are several things that should be improved asap in your Mobilinc HD app (iOS and iPad): Mobilinc Connect: Huge Latency ! It takes too long to detect status. It’s way faster using port forwarding!!! Better documentation on how to access. Simplify switching from IP to Mobilinc Connect. Notifications: Painful to activate. We need to be able to activate Notifications from the Web, instead of using the app. It is annoying when you have to do so many clicks to get to the Notification menu, having many devices. When the app has a Notification activated on a device, when using the same app NO notification in that phone should be triggered!!. It’s ridiculous. By default, the message should be Pre-Populated. Now it’s saying “Enter your custom message notification message here”. Ridiculous. I have more than 150 devices connected to ISY. So you don’t have a clue on what device the alert is about. This is a bug. Despite I have selected “Banners” style of notifications, keeps appearing a “Alert” type. A message box that forces my to select, ok or Cancel. This is a bug! Notifications should be activated when connected directly to the network (IP addresses and specific ports) Even when I disabled Notification on iPhone, they keep coming! New Icons: The set of icons you guys have for the app are ugly and outdated. They look really old. We need the ability to upload our own icons. But on top of that, we are missing many: - Window icon for open/close sensors - Stairs - BackYard or Garden Icons - Different icons for elements of the house - Icons identifying rooms - Integrated Fans icon - Driveway icons - Entry door icons. - Electric Car icon - Hallway icon - Bathtub - Bathroom - Shower - WC - Kitchen - Master Bedroom - Bedroom - Kids… - Playroom - Pergola icon - Family room - Living Room - Sofa - Dining room icon - Bed - Pool - Spa - … Rooms: I cannot understand how come the app doesn’t support Rooms to organize devices. This is a must. Similar concept of a Folder. Specially when ISY supports this feature! Please!!! iBeacons / Near Me feature: I have different brands and types of iBeacons, and the “speed” of refresh is too slow. It takes to long to refresh where is the iBecon. This feature needs a revisit too. Config Bug: When switching from Mobilinc Connect to IP (because Mobilinc doesn’t work fast enough after paying 200 dollars!) it looses the previously configured ip addresses. Unacceptable. They should be there. There is no security reason justifying that. Same when I switch back to Mobilinc. Why do i have to reenter the whole thing again? Maybe the password (if anything), but please think about this again. It is a pain in the neck. In summary, this app needs a deep overhaul. Please please please. Thanks
Broken features not fixed. Outdated iPad look and feel.

Geofence push notifications have been broken for months with no fix other than to pay for additional services that. The iPad version of the app has a dated look and feel to it and should be updated to a more modern look even the iPhone look and feel which was updated is still not the best look and feel. A unified scenes and devices view would be a helpful option as currently there is not a good way to handle when you have multi-way switches and need to use the scene vs. the individual device. If a household member picks the device and not the scene you end up with local devices out of sync. You can hide a device but then you have to search multiple areas to find the appropriate device or scene unless you set it to your dashboard.

I was an Insteon Hub user that needed greater capability than the hub was able to offer. I found the ISY, which is a fabulous product and performs perfectly. The recommended app for remote access to the ISY was Mobilinc HD. Because I was so pleased with the ISY, I did not bat an eye and hastily purchased Mobilinc HD. Only after making the purchase did I realize that I just spent nearly $50 for this app, which is crazy expensive, especially considering that the Insteon hub app was free. During the set up process, the next surprise came when I learned that I also had to purchase a module for the ISY to connect to mobile link. Come to find out, there seems to be an endless list of rather expensive modules to make stuff work with ISY, including some subscription-based stuff, meaning that there is a monthly charge. OK, too late now, I've made the purchases. Let's look on the bright side, I must have just purchased the Mack daddy of controller apps. Yet what I'm finding is that the app is a little buggy, more so on the iPhone than the iPad for some reason. Also, the interface itself is not very streamlined, very bulky using images of all the Insteon devices. Also, not very intuitive. I think that there are some free apps, or at least some "normally priced" apps that will interface with the ISY. I would recommend looking for those before jumping into this.
