Not happy

KellyEllyOoh

I've had this since December 2015.... It worked great in the beginning. But in the last few months I've had to keep replacing the battery every two weeks. Even then, the thing doesn't track exercises all the time. It's constantly disconnecting from my app, and I find its very sensitive to touch, making it reset itself multiple times a day. There are times I exercise for an hour or more only to find out that not. Single movement was tracked. I would not recommend this product the way it is now.

It Would Be Better If. .............

I've had my Misfit Flash for about 6 months, and for the price I paid, it is a handy little gadget when it works properly. Unfortunately, if, when I go to bed at night, I forget to switch it to Sleep mode, it can't or doesn't make the switch automatically. It just stays on Activity, and I don't get any Sleep data at all. I may be doing something wrong myself, but I havent figured out what it is. It's really disappointing, because tracking my sleep is the main reason I bought the Flash!?

Excellent Tool For Activity Tracking

NJ80Scrabble

I am very active, running and swimming. I started using the MisFit for tracking swimming laps, however the features of tracking my other activity and sleep were valuable tool. The app is easy to use and the device is very light and rad to wear, the strap is well designed, I wear it 24 hours a day and shows no sign of wear.

Good tracker

I got the misfit speedo especially for swimming, plus regular activity and running. I like that the app is very straightforward and streamlined. I don't use the sleep function because wearing anything on my wrist bothers me. The swim function seems to "learn" so that it is now incredibly accurate l, but at first it would be off by a few hundred yards. I would definitely recommend to anyone who wants a fitness tracker for swimming and the app is easy to use with regular updates. I have not experienced any bugs or crashes.

Just ok

Sleep app is way off from truth. Daytime is okay but doesn't match with iPhone app I wear which always seems to be more accurate with my activity as far as I can tell.

My Speedo Misfit is great for swimming

Cat43

I bought the original Speedo Misfit in October, 2015. I have worn it 24/7 since that time. I chose the Speedo Misfit because I swim laps three times a week. It consistently counts my laps accurately and gives me the elapsed time. I also have the Speedo App which is supposed to work with the Misfit, but I always have to manually enter my laps, time and duration into the Speedo App. It seems like they should work together so the same data is entered into the Speedo App when I sync the Misfit with the Misfit App on my iPhone 6. I normally wear the Misfit on my wrist and it doesn't seem to pick up my steps as accurately as it does my swim laps. I'm currently wearing it on my ankle to see if it counts my steps more accurately. I wear my iPhone at my waist and it consistently counts more steps than the Misfit. I really like the sleep tracking feature on the Misfit. It has helped motivate me to go to bed earlier so I get around 8 hours sleep. The only problem I have had with the sleep tracker is that about once every two weeks or so it doesn't record my sleep. I set it up the same way every night and have never figured out why some mornings, when I sync with the App, there is no sleep record. I have not had a problem with the misfit coming out of the band as some reviewers have reported. However my friend, who has the Misfit 2, has had problems with his coming out of the band many times. I have had good battery life except when I used a brand other than Panasonic. The other brand only lasted a couple of months. I couldn't find any Panasonic batteries locally, so I ordered them from Amazon. The replacement Panasonic battery is lasting as long or longer than the original Panasonic. Overall, I am very pleased with the Speedo Misfit. I am considering upgrading to the Speedo Misfit 2 this Fall. I would like to wear them both to compare the data that I get with each, but I can be only sync one with my iPhone. I am wondering if it would be possible to add a Misfit App to my iPad and sync the Speedo Misfit 2 to the iPad so I could compare the data from both. I would love to know if anyone else has tried that.

It's been a year with my Misfit!

Queen Warrior

This September will be a year since I've been wearing my Misfit non stop. I have lost 35 pounds, and I am planing on losing another 35 pounds in the following year. My goal is to be where I am supposed to be at my age and my height. Misfit has been a great way to keep myself in check and specially get motivated to constantly push myself, set new goals. The MISFIT is very simple in its appearance and very simple in its performance. It fits me perfectly. Of course, the best part for me, and the main reason why I got it in the first place, is because I can track my swimming activities. I actually swim, walk, and bike at least four times a week. It has been so far the best activity monitor I have ever had. Best features for me: simplicity all around, battery powered, water resistant, strong and clever design. I will buy the "Watchfit" if the manufacturers ever come up with it, keeping the simplicity I love most of all of course... Thank you MISFIT for making my comeback to active life much more interesting and rewarding!?

1) If you are wearing the waterproof band, turn it inside out and there is no danger of it coming unclasped. 2) There are apps to Find Your Misfit. 3) In order for sleep tracking, you don't need to adjust anything. It will track by itself based on non-movement. If you read or watch tv before falling asleep, it may track that as sleep. Simply scan down the Home screen and edit your sleep times. Be mindful of the date if your edit takes you past midnight. If you press delete, you will not be able to recover the sleep data for that time period. 4) Change the location of your Misfit based on which area is primarily in motion. If you're on the treadmill, wearing it on your wrist and holding the rails, it won't track your steps. Wear it on your shoe. Same with carrying an umbrella or packages as you walk since your arm won't move as much as your feet.

Motivation tool, got me back working out.

Bad since update

Syncs not right anymore. Not recording activity points although the active is seen with a total. Maybe the Shine isn't supported anymore?
