Not work in R56

The app not work in all functions in R56 model 2012. No facebook, no twitter, no voice memos from whatsaap over Bluetooth.

Didn't work on my 6S and it still doesn't work with my iPhone 7. I am using the latest Mini Connect software in my car and I've tried different lighting cables. I'm hoping the new Mini Connected app will work better than the Classic version. Guess it's back to CD's (no aux port in iPhone 7, and I don't want to have to choose whether to charge my iPhone or use the headphone adapter). ?????

I was so excited to see an update. But soon disappointed to see Mission Control is still missing.

Why did my Mini dealer recommend this?

The only useful function I can find is sending locations to the car's nav system. The dealer pushed installing it but could not explain what it does or how to use it. The tutorials are ads not help. There is no current documentation. I learned how to use it from the BMW ConnectedDrive documentation. Pandora stops after starting. You still have to select USB in Multimedia although that should be automatic. App Support is nonexistent. The link sends you to a website that does not work correctly on IOS devices. Emails to support are not answered. There is no documentation on IOS level, App level and vehicle Firmware levels required. It apparently does not work with iPhone 7 and/or IOS 10. It should work through Bluetooth. I want Apple CarPlay instead.

Absolutely love my 2017 Mini Cooper S Clubman ALL4! ...However, Mini Connected is so lacking! Please BMW make this a better system. For starters, please make where we don't actually have it hard wired with the USB for it to work. This certainly can be done just with the Bluetooth.

Really don't get this app. Doesn't really do anything useful even when turned on. Not an extension of the Mini experience.

Mini connected has been a waste of money imo. There's no app support by Mini nor BMW. This app is pretty much useless. If mini would integrate Waze support, it would be a game changer.

My salesman highly suggested I install and use this app. It's useless. I'm not sure what it does. I'm new to the Mini family. I'm trying to understand the purpose or intended function of this app. The salesman certainly made it seem like a valuable resource. I'd like to experience the intended purpose. Please fix this app.

**Edit- Please bring back Mission Control & the Minimalism App. The rest of my review still applies so far. The whole reason I bought the connected package was because of Mission Control, Minimalism Analyzer, & Dynamic music. Now that you have removed those features, you have removed all the truly useful, fun, and MINI ‘personality’ out of this app/package. Poor decision. I feel like BMW/Mini stole $1000+ from me. Anyone who asks me about my car will get an earful about this bad decision. To top it off, other apps now crash when I try to use them, like Audible & Glympse. If you’re going to remove the features most loved, at least make the rest of the app reliable. Truly terrible & buggy update.

I'm missing the point or maybe this app is pointless

Occasionally I can see how many gallons of fuel remaining but most of the time the app appears stuck on a "connected" screen. Oh yes I can see my calendar from my iPhone on the center display. This app is the first to go when I'm tight on space for my iPhone.
