Paid for the monthly subscription but word won’t activate

Cannot get word to activate, tried all of the troubleshooting steps with no luck. Says “Your purchase was successful but we were unable to associate it with your Microsoft account”. I finally cancelled my subscription and removed all Microsoft apps from my devices.
Latest updates creates bugs

For a while, the select tool in “draw”, one could select a drawn object and move it around the page. Oops! No more. It simply doesn’t work. More bugs showing up. I use word a lot in both iPad and Mac hr0ugh 360. I find it substandard, even to some of the word clones out there.

Like a lot of this app but the interface needs work. I used to be able to double space and check work count easily, now it was changed and I can’t do either. #frustration

Not like desktop version

Why there are defects in iPad version not fully functional,, i hope to add all desktop functions like borders .
