If only Office 2016 Mac was useable...

Word for iOS is a pretty darn good for a mobile word processor. HOWEVER: it requires Off 2016 for syncing/editing. Sadly, the Office 2016 is about 20 steps backward from Office Mac 2011 (barely any user customization and a 1000 other gripes.) I could rant here for hours, but this is supposed to be about the mobile end. . As for Word for iOS: On the plus side: this does provide a means to edit docs farily well without losing much formatting. On the downside: syncing can be a little confusing, and at worst touch and go, And Saving?!? how bloody confusing is this?! MS could really learn a few things from Dropbox (which is at least partially integrated with Word). Despite these shortcomings Word for iOS would be a 6 star app if only Office 2016 was a [much] better product,

So easy to take notes, jot down ideas and reminiscences, and save articles (w/cut & paste) on my iPad mini that fits in my purse!

I've always enjoyed using Word on my PC. Now, having the Word App on my IOS phone and iPad just opens my world more. I can be more mobile with it. I can continue to learn more about the program and how it can be helpful to me. I can use OneDrive to connect with my PC or other devices plus sharing is so much nicer. The thousands of templates, not only with Microsoft but also access to other companies on the Internet, makes it easy and quick to throw together a letter, document, etc. I'm still in the learning phase but can't wait to see what else will be developed for Word/Word App.

After downloading this app and entering email address as required I now receive 100's of spam emails per day. So if you need ED treatment, to get rich beyond your wildest dreams, or a Russian wife this is the app for you! If not may want to pass.

Fantastic app. Really handy to have this mobile app when you're away from your computer or unable to use it for whatever reason. It's the same as the computer version, but in a mobile world.
