iPad Pro 2018 battery drain

oneNote drains battery of my ipad when taking notes with apple pencil. My ipad heats up and drains battery about 20 per hour. Tried airplane mode and reinstalling but no luck.
Glitchy after update

After I updated the app it keeps crashing and when it does work, the features keep getting disabled saying “offline”. Super annoying because I have exams coming up and I can’t even open the app to see my notes!!!

This app only sync’s 1 time out of probably 50. Doesn’t update, doesn’t sync. I’d like to give it negative stars if at all possible.
