Helpful to find the nearest train, direction to head and where to change. Just remember to sync the maps to avoid need for data. Great port of an equally useful Palm Pilot application.

Even though the user interface isn't the latest, this little perfect app is very powerful and smart. I've forgot for how many years and all the destinations in which this simple app saved my life! Going from A to B in a strange city haven't been easier thanks to this amazing team that updates the maps very often!!!

I wish the San Francisco database included the entire AC transit, SamTrans, County Connections, VTA, Muni, and Shuttle services! Once those are added (along with departure times from the Caltrain schedule), it earns 5/5 stars, and gets my recommendation to Caltrain staff!

Recently, when I tried planning a trip between Bart and Caltrain, it would specify that all Caltrain stops were closed in the middle of the day in a Friday...? What is with that? It's also missing most of the muni system, and it's not as useful as before because it refused to open when I was not online, so I couldn't use it! Please fix as soon as you can!

Been using a version of app for years, way before there was an iPhone with apps. Has never let me down, there is plenty of cities covered, and the price us unbeatable!

I've been using this app for ages and absolutely love it! Having one app that helps me navigate metro systems all over the world is fantastic. I've used it all over Asia and Europe and it has never failed me. If you travel a lot, you need this app!

In short, Metro has helpful transit information on a lot of cities worldwide. I used this in 4 cities in Europe and I am really glad I had this. Sure, maybe there are some stops missing from here but still, if you don't have an internet connection or you want to save data while traveling, this app is for you. Tip: you need to know the stop name in order to make use of this (unless the stop is a landmark). I used an offline map app (also free) with public transport stops to look up the stop names.

Get this app! Just returned from 9 days in Paris. The city's metro system goes almost everywhere in the city. This app made using the Paris metro a snap. Absolutely a vacation necessity.
