As stated by others App needs clear instruction and explanation of icons, routes, etc The app is so bad for my own city (nyc) to figure it out, cant imagine it in Tokyo or any where else where english is not main language .. Needs serious re-write

No need for a data connection makes this app invaluable! I use it in various places where Internet access isn't available. I just punch in my current subway or train station and where I need to go and this app always delivers. Many cities are available; this also a huge asset. Once you are familiar with the interface you'll never need another app for transit directions.

Terrible interface

Trying to use it to plan a trip from the airport to my hotel. Except I have absolutely no idea how to find the airport as a starting point in this app. I typed in every variation of "airport", and it's name I could think of, but It just doesn't exist in his app. I could also try selecting it on a map ... Except there is no map. This app is completely unusable.

This really helped me in Paris.... I even helped a lot if others with it. The only thing was I had to learn to shut off bus options since I didn't want that. But once I figured that out, smooth sailing.

Not a god sign that it hasn't been upgraded since fall of 2013. I think the developer gave up on it rather than fix it's myriad problems. Bad interface, no instructions, just plain worthless. I've been trying to plan a route between Seattle Airport and down town and the app keeps giving me an error message that the starting point, the airport, is closed. Ummm... might want to tell that to the 10 planes that have landed since I started trying to use this app. Removing it from my phone as soon as I send this review.

this is hands down the best app I have ever used. I am currently traveling abroad and this app has been an absolute god-send. You don't need wifi to use it, you just need to know your point A and point B. Let me repeat: YOU DONT EVEN NEED SERVICE TO USE THIS APP! This is amazingly helpful when traveling abroad without phone use, or when underground and without service. If you do have service, you can have it find your current location and it will direct you to the nearest station. In large cities, like London or Paris, your "point A/B" could even be a monument/landmark, so you don't have to figure out which stop is the closest. It tells you which train to take and which direction and where to change to a different line. It will give you different routes, which one is the fastest, or which has less changes, and you can tap on the specific train to see how many stops it is. It takes a few minutes to figure out how it works and what all the symbols mean, but once you do, it's so so so amazing. I seriously cannot endorse this app enough.
