It works and integrates well on all of my platforms

This version works well. I use Windows desktops, laptops, Apple tablets, and laptops, iPhone an android. This integrates very well.

Needs to support multiple phone numbers/accounts concurrently!

It’s an okay messaging app with a good amount of features, except one absolutely CRITICAL feature for those of us who have two cell phones (like one for business and one for personal). This app can only handle one phone number’s messaging. So for those of us that have only one tablet and two phones (all on Verizon’s network, no less), we can’t even use it as a text messaging center on our tablet, which partially defeats the purpose of having the tablet app version in the first place. Come on Verizon, with your billions and billions of dollars, you can’t even come up with an app that can handle two phone numbers’ text messaging concurrently? Ideally, you could have the two (or more) phone numbers listed at the top left to easily tap on and go back and forth between their different sets of messages. You could also have an optional integrated view that combines them — so you can see and reply to all messages from a single view. At least offer the first option to us with full syncing with those phones’ messages. Basically, think of treating it like many email clients do with handling multiple accounts. Then you’d truly have a really useful messaging app, and could give Apple Messages a run for their money.

My review.

I like the Verizon message app, but there are some drawbacks. Can't adjust the font size or color. Can't block texts. Hope they will address these issues. GDW

Can’t set up this app to save my life

No matter how I try to set this up, I keep getting a invalid We code or it says the link is expired....very frustrating

Won’t work on iPhone 12 Pro

Trying to use this app but can’t get past the initial setup. When I click the link that is sent to me after putting in my phone number it says “Error please scan valid QR code”. Tried multiple times and keep getting the same error.

Issues migrating account to other devices

I have been attempting to scan the QR code to migrate my account to a phone I use at the gym. Says unknown error. Have tried installing uninstalling, with no success. Have tried more times then I want to admit or think about. I also sent an email to customer service about but received no response. It would be nice to resolve this.

Outdated

Unfortunately I’m having an issue receiving group text messages with Android users, and this is the only somewhat reliable way to receive them until Apple fixes the bug. Cosmetically this app needs revamped. They need to support dark mode, because the bright white backgrounds you’re greeted with are awful in you’re in dark mode. Sure you can change the background colors, but it doesn’t adjust the text or settings pages, so it’s just a band-aid, and not a good one. It also looks the same as it did when it was released, which judging by the style, it appears to be 10 years ago. Functionally this app (for obvious reasons) only works with non-iMessage messages, which is fine. However it doesn’t always display a name in the notifications (even if they’re in your contacts), and only shows a preview about half of the time. There’s no consistency in it either, it’s a coin toss really, you don’t always know what you’re going to get. Overall this app has its benefits, especially if you’re having issues receiving text messages, or you’re going to be away from cellular service, but have WiFi. Aside from those two reasons, I wouldn’t recommend using this, especially not in its current state. It’s in desperate need of an overhaul, and I wouldn’t hold your breath on that ever happening.

Needs to interface better with iPhone messaging

migrammy

It’s a great app but on an iPhone I get dual notifications. Anyone texting from an iPhone doesn’t show up in this message app so I have to open both apps.
