I am having a lot of fun using the app! My birds are easily identified in the program and it is so easy to use! In the past I had to sort through pages in my book, but now I load the info I see and Voila! The app helps me identify the bird plus adds more info to support what I'm learning about the birds. I'll keep my book, but it definitely PLAN B!

No explanation needed. Just download it and you’ll be amazed out how accurate they’re identification methods are. Works every time, even with somewhat pixelated photos.

Pretty helpful app. Really like it. Would be great in future to have a function search by recording a bird’s song. Still really good. Also would be great if app could keep a log of your bird sightings.

This app is awesome. I love that it has the bird calls even. Only thing I wish it had was a tracker for what birds I ID and when.
Iconic lie
I was amazed how quick I was able to identify birds. Only trouble is the inability to save, file and review the birds identified in my area.

I’ve had wonderful success using the ID from photo option. It’s been really amazing. I was able to use it on vacation in Europe to ID birds I’ve never heard of before! No field guides to haul and no waiting til you’re home to look everything up. It’s quite powerful. I highly recommend it for beginners. Of course, the better the photo, the better it works but I’ve had success with partial images as well.

So I definitely will give this app undoubtedly 5 stars, but I have a few things that might help. Maybe if u dont know about this app, but an app called Audubon ID has this feature where you can select the features of the bird that you know, so even if u dont know all the basic details, you can still find it out, and the other feature is that You can report birds that you have seen if your area, so you can notify others about which birds you are more or less likely to see. And also you can create a “life list” so you can keep track of which birds you see. Also plz make an update so you can also have a downloadable pack for Hawaii please!!!! Anyways, I love your app. No doubt.

I use this app frequently in the field. Much easier than carrying a field book. I use my books at home to study or for any further evaluation details. I like that it now pinpoints likely birds in your chosen geographic area. It kind of makes it like a neighborhood bird guide. I use it mostly to identify bird song and calls. It is nice to have Merlin and ebird on one device. I also use allaboutbirds all the time. Nice job Cornell!

Such a cool app. Are use it sitting on my back patio or when I travel. I've recently used it on the East Coast and West Coast. Love it.
