Good game with a few flaws

Merge dragons is a really fun collecting game, with lots of levels of things to collect. I play it a lot, and love collecting the dragons. I like the new updates with the chests. It makes getting rare things a lot easier. But there are some cons too. The chalices. It used to be that you only lost chalices when you lost a level, and it was only one or two, but now you lose almost all of them for playing one level, even if you win. And the chalices take way longer to refill. Also, you should have a "Are you sure you want to trash this" thingy pop up when you hit trash. Multiple times I've lost high level objects by accidentally tapping that. Another thing that you should do is be able to tell dragons not to harvest stuff, and they should always harvest the highest level object available. My dragons keep harvesting level 2 life flowers when I have level 7 life flowers, and it's really annoying. Other than that, it's a really good game. I defiantly recommend it.

I recently switched from android to iPhone, so I’m not sure if it’s an update or if it’s the different app versions. It’s a great game with a lot of fun puzzles, but I don’t remember needing so many chalices or “lives” to do such early levels. I also don’t remember it taking so long for the chalices to re-fill. It’s ridiculously annoying.

Fun gameplay and adorable art... but wow it is impossible to play without spending money and the money you spend doesn’t get you very far. My “camp” is full of chests I can’t afford to open, and the timer for chalices to play levels refill SO slowly! I spent some money on gems so I could open chests, but the loot I found just wasn’t worth the cash. About to delete the app, since my gaming dollars go a lot farther with other games. It’s a pity, because I loved having a fleet of tiny dragons!

Newer player here. I love the game but devs are asking for way too much real money to progress. This has to be the greediest game I’ve ever played. I don’t mind spending cash for a special upgrade or item. This game wants cash for dang near everything though. I can’t get behind that so until it’s more consumer friendly with real perks devs won’t get a dime.

There are so many ways for this game to have been a success for me. The minute a game tells me I can’t play anymore because I have to literally effing wait on something to refill is the minute I’m done. I’ve had this game 2 days and today I chose to binge play...for all of an hour before I can’t play anymore. Let me watch an ad or something to refill. Geez! Why design a game only to tell people they can’t play your game. Stupidest thing ever. The only other play option is your base, then all your dragons go to sleep for extended amounts of time. Can they at least stagger their sleep times instead of all being asleep at the same time?! Then only one gets to wake up at a time! Come on guys! Keep me interested in the game!
