Wow, it's really good. Free and cross platform!!

I've been using Mendeley desktop for well over 5 years now and it's been amazing. Now that the iOS version has had some time to mature this is by far the best pdf reader, organizer, annotater, reference manager and friend you could ask for. Did I mention it's all free and runs on windows OS X and Linux. No matter where I login from I have all 800+ articles at my disposal. Get it now!

Plain horrible, no change over a few years

DrGerm

I've tried to use their app on and off for a few years. It's just plain horrible. It's buggy, crashes, lacks a few basic features, and is mostly unusable. I wish it wasn't, cause I'd use the heck out of it if it was good.

Mendeley everywhere I go

Drag and drop a PDF onto Mendeley Desktop is magical. Mendeley automatically imports the document, creating the reference entry and adding the PDF to the library. That means that I can access my articles on the go from my phone, which is great for catching up on reading.

Please add iOS share sheet support

I love Mendeley but I need a way to import documents on the iOS app. Please add share sheet support!

Review/feedback

Hello, I know this is supposed to be a review, but can you please add a bookmarking feature to the application. I often use the application to read long articles and textbooks. It would be very helpful to have a set of bookmarks so that I can quickly locate the information that I need. It is critical as an academic to have this feature.

Search feature broken

astralnocturne

The search feature can't seem to find articles, either by title or by tag.

Seemed promising

@tcsiwula

But does not support epup files. Strictly pdf.

Nice try, but still missing (and broken) key features

HelenACWrites

I love having my digital library at my fingertips, and with exporting to iAnnotate, it works out alright, I suppose. However, the search feature is broken. "No matches" for title, tags, or author, which is frustrating. Also, I'd like to echo the need for multiple tabs in the app. Designers - are you out there? Is there an update coming?? Please?

Amazing!

This is still a new app but I'm blown away by how well it works already! It syncs annotations and has been very stable. Looks great on iPhone 6 Plus. Considering how young this app is, I expect to see further improvements as time goes on. An excellent start--the app is totally useable and stable from the beginning. Glad to see this finally hit iOS!

Very reliable

This is by far the best way to organize research paper. However, reading in ipad can still be improved, one possible design is to support multiple tabs because it is often necessary to switch between different pdf's.
